Etana Busara Sarah Palin, where exactly did she come from. Alask, ok fine! But is she ready to run this Nation. Why are the pinning her up against Barack, he is running for the President she VP. IF they feel she has these great qualities then she should run as the Republican Parties Presidential Nominee. She came out with very stronga attacks against Barack on her speech on Wednesday, when Barack had not made any remarks towards her perssoanlly at the time. ROBINSON IRMA UC, Davis class of 1992 Clark I would like to add this to what you just said.Do we live in the same country where the demeaning of the single Black(even adult) mother as BAD for her children came into the political arena with President LBJ...remember the state of Texas and the MARRIED teen mother's parents seen as a danger to them not long ago...the male being head of he house hold...unprotected (HIV aides)s*x is bad and s*x between unmarried/teens is a no, no? How about dropping out of high school as a bad thing? Now the family of governor Plain is off limits because she is a Christian conservative running on the Republican family, Christian value base party; but at the same time John McCain is acting like these two teen role models(?) are an extention of him in his media shots hugging them. These teens who will be married, maybe on the White House Lawn and live happy for ever(8 years) on tax payers money in the White house of tax payers money or tax monies on section 8...or the $7.00 and hour wages? Please as a responsible mother, wife and grand mother this is not acceptabel as being what is best for this country. but, then this party is supporting the continuation of a war in Iraq are they not????? ROBINSON IRMA UC, Davis class of 1992 Flicia, are you saying that Palin is representing your core Christian, family values and the mother image you want to spoken of you? I admit that if one of my children could not come to me right away when they are stressed/in major trouble for the rest of their lives(the next 18 years), I would feel some how I had failed them. And, there is no way I would put my worst enemy(if I had one) throung the meida meat grinder it is going to put all of these children through along with her church, her sisters and freinds,etc through. It is selfish and self serving and certainly not Christian giving to ones love onesor helping the image of American's morals values. But, this is me who does not believe in short term pleasure for long term pain. Who in the world can we tell to not have teen s*x..stay in school...be responsible young peoples... These politicians seem a little to proud of this unsafe s*x for my comfort as I live in California(smile) 2.Is there a s*xual crime in this "going to be married" excuse for making legal under aged s*x?I am having a little trouble trying to find out about these laws in the state of Alaska.
