As my pen touches the paper, gliding leaving traces of organized ink My hand violently scribbling because this is the only way to express what I think My opinion on this bias world in which we daily live, work, play, eat, and drink The only way to open the hearts of my people as deeper into foolish things we sink As quickly as my eyes opens then closes yes as rapidily as a blink - a change has occured for the worse No matter how far we come it seems we will never be free of the ni**er, ni**a, negro curse But I call my guys my ni**as all the time so does that classify me as perverse Or what about hip hop artist we bob our heads to that regularly include the word in the lyrics of his verse I see it as a love/hate relationship but definitely not the biggest issue that should be addressed first- cause there are way bigger fish to fry Like institutionalized racism, ongoing war in Iraq, and oh yeah...
