It takes a special kind of heart to love children. There are others who have no heart, no caring and no love. They seek to destroy the innoncent. God knows all works of people who to these type of things. I believe he will recompense, especially when it comes to little children. Your blog was touching. Thank you for allowing it to be shared. We must pray continually for our children.
Daddy (Jesus) said to forgive them for they know not what they do. Yes, the person may have known very well what they were doing at the time, but it is important that we love others and hate the sin, not the sinner. I also have lost a child, not in such a horrifying way, but she died a week before Christmas 1992, and only 2 days before my neice's 3rd birthday. A complete stranger sent me a poem that has since been lost, but I will never forget the title, God's Lent Child. You see, everything here is only borrowed, nothing is forever but our Lord. Be encouraged that she is in a better place, where she doesn't feel pain, hurt, tears, darkness, or evil, ever. Be incouraged that you and all those who knew her, will one day, when their work here on earth is through, see her again, forever. Pray for the one(s) who did this to her, and give it to God, who can turn traggedy into triumph, pain into power, and evil into everlasting joy. I know it is a long, hard road to loose a child and find joy again, but I am living proof that all things are trully possible if you just believe. May I pray with you today? Daddy, Lord, I place all of your children, young and old, into your loving hands, and I give you all power, dominion, and authority to do what only you can do. You are our protection, our provision, our health, our breath, our all in all. We thank you and praise you for all that you are, and all that you do. We only ask for your peace, that surpasses all understanding. I cover these brothers and sisters of mine in your perfect, cleansing blood, and thank you for your righteous justice and plan. Thanki you for taking those who are no longer in this life, and caring for them as only you know how. Thank you for bringing the rest of us safely this far, and taking us safely on our way again. In the name of your precious son, Jesus, we ask and pray, amen. We rest in the knowledge that this did not come to stay, but came to pass, and that you haven't brought us this far to leave us. Thank you, and thank you, VH, for this blog. Mya Lyons is with the Lamb, be glad and rejoice, even if it hurts or is hard to do so. GB

Vanessa this is a very terrible world we are living in with some very terrible people. I pray that we all know where our children are at any given point and time, because their lives depend upon it.
