Will our vote count?

Posted By: michael perry on October 18, 2008 I wonder if my vote will actually count. When I go to pull that lever, will my vote count. i still remember what happen in Florida in the 2000 election. I don't trust the system! Is there any way I can check to confirm that my vote counted? How do we really know that our vote actually counted for the candidate we chosed. I would feel better if there was a system where we can track our votes. Example : I cast my vote in Atlanta, Zone 2 They give me a receipt with my personal voter registration number and the number of my actual vote. Lets say I was the 26001 vote for my candidate. I should be able to go the internet and look at Georgia , Atlanta , zone 2 and find the vote 26001 and confirm my vote. With a black man running for president, they may try anything to stop his victory. how many votes will be lost? How many not counted. Can you say recount? I see that the stage is set to discredit many votes due to voters fraud. But thats another story at another time. Just my thoughts. I got an email from Joe Biden yesterday. He spoke of the 2000 election and Flordia. Our votes will count. Obama's campaign stil needs donations and volunteers. Remember not to wear anything endorsing your candidate. Although they say its just a rumor, I've been told by the board of elections and several election judges they are being told to send people away that wear endorsements.
