As most of you know, I write so that I can serve. If you visit my website (http://www.jefferyafaulkerson.com), you will learn that a portion of the funds that I receive from the sale of my books supports the efforts of PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS Nonprofit Services Division, a not-for-profit organization that I established in 2007 to promote functional families through words and deeds. One of our primary service areas is parent education and support.
Because we believe that functional families equal functional societies, we have initiated a new campaign - a movement of sorts - to "exert collective parental influence on the attitudes and behaviors of America's children and youths." Campaign participants will receive opportunities to participate in workshops, seminars and conferences that increase their capacity to be Active Parents. They will also work collaboratively with other parents to identify and address the societal pressures that adversely impact children's ability to lead prosperous lives.
