I was watching a Joyce Meyer video on YouTube, and her guest was Dr. R.T. Kendall. He listed ten reasons to forgive ourselves from his experience.
1) It's what God wants you to do
2) It's what the devil doesn't want you to do
3) It's what will give you peace and set you free from GUILT
4) It will help you find your calling in life and see what God wants you to do
5) It will help you LOVE people
6) People will start liking you more
7) It sets you FREE from your PAST
8) It improves your physical health
9) It improves your emotional health
10) It Improves your spiritual health
