Are you Sick and Tired of Sports Clothing on Everybody!!
I Want to Stop Wearing Sport Clothing
We Need a Change for the Better

Family of Color isn't it time we give up the baseball, basketball, etc. look.
Do you realize at the time we conscious Business people were ready to introduce clothing from the Homeland, that the barrage of sports clothing appeared pratically destroying any connection between African styled clothing. We have elegant clothing from across the seas and yet we want to go around for years now in the outfits of people who are getting paid big dollars for playing games in clothing you call yourself wearing as every day apparel. Ok you say
what other alternative do we have, Go to and look http://www.Kenterose.yourafricanmarket.com and tell me if you are going to be wearing those same tired clothes 10 years from now. ACCEPT your glory and wear clothing of people with dignity. I DARE YOU.........
Billions of dollars have been collected from you and how much of this is directed back to our communities?

I think we can walk and chew gum at the same time in life. I believe we can wear meaningful attire for our families that express our love of personal expression and freedom while teaching our children TO CHOOSE to be unique individuals vs. pawns in the fashion game. It is a very big pie. We just need to practice MORE ADVANCE thinking before we spend our recession impacted dollars. Great question "How much of this is directed back to our communities?" When I have asked local non-black businesses this VERY SAME question I heard things like, "Why should we? Folks will buy from us REGARDLESS! It doesn't make a difference one way or another!"
