“If we can’t make our moment happen now … it becomes someone else’s moment”
It's been 88 years since the Tulsa riots destroyed the famous Black Wall Street, yet today, many don't know nor understand the collective magnitude of their successes.
Those of us who do, often find our hands feel cuffed when searching for methods to bring together today's business-minded Black people to achieve even greater success. Until now.
I invite every business-minded person on this site to join with me to help launch a Black business-to-business national movement, on a new site aptly titled: Black Wall Street Now.com
The Mission:
Black Wall Street Now is presenting Black Americans with a thoroughfare in which our unabridged spending power is sprinkled with choice. This comprehensive site will act as a stage of progression in which economic efficacy is inevitable. As strong as the image of the black fist, this site places pride and power at the fingertips of its users' hands. Not to be undermined or misrepresented, Black Wall Street Now is a binding force to thousands of like-minded individuals and businesses in cities all across America.
...........................
And lastly, I am looking for local publishers in non-competitive markets to launch a high-quality, uniquely designed African America business directory that would be tied to the site. I have the perfect model which has been published for three years called the Houston Black Book. It is without question one of -- if not the most -- stylish business directories ever created. While most directories get the pantry treatment, this one actually sits on coffee tables all over Houston and prominently displayed in several businesses' showcases.
If you would like to be a local publisher, please contact me directly for more details : clamos@houstonblackbook.com.
Watch for the official launch of Black Wall Street Now 09.09.09! Here's an early link:
