GOD IS (442 hits)

God is a very hot topic today! It could be that more and more people are beginning to consider their relationship with him. Either that, or they have some kind of reasoning or need express what; or how exactly what's their own knowledge capacity of him. Perhaps it's just a need for discussion. In addition, this could be true, that since it is a new decade --people feel his presence, & his prophecies are coming closer to view. It could be any number of things why Godly topics are being focused more and more.

The Spirit of God is far more and above our own thinking. We are beneath his understanding, but we are allowed to know that existence is real. Whether we believe is up to us. He doesn't have to prove his own existence. God also quotes "They shall know I AM GOD." It is prevelant that to most of us have some kind of conception that latter day prophecies are becoming more visual than ever before. Men and women do all kind of evil practices, people worship idols, and men have drifted into making their own religions to suit themselves --taking on anyone who'll follow and serve them. There are false prophets, and teachers and more than ever people are searching to find what is really the truth. Misleading leaders of world are all to anxious to take on anyone who'll support them. However, the one true God has no gimmicks. He needs to proofs of who he is because he has spoken all will know him. Believer or non-believer. God is God. He is the the God that Was, Is and Is to come. Perhaps, our knowlege of him should be OUR new awakening to the new year. I'm sure GOD IS glad to know he'll be known.

More people are searching now because in the past Blacks were taught not to question what was told unto them about religion. I can remember when I was studying and reading about the theology of God I was met voices of being a communist, claiming I was reading too many books.
People want to know why religions teaches hate for others who find a different path. Why prejudice and discrimination are a part of every religion?

One of the drawbacks is that you have no say in the editing process. The people who held the pens added their own perspectives. It's not about who's right or who's wrong. No religion's nailed it yet. They're all too self-righteous to even consider being wrong. Your hearts are in the right place but your brains gotta wake up.

Like you, Helen, I was told "don't get too smart for God" when I was young and began questioning everything I was taught [or told] to believe in. It's the way to control the masses by keeping the sheep too dumb to guide themselves. That's why they need a "good shepherd".

Hmma lot of thoughts here, and I would dare say some truth to all of them. I just wanted to offer this for consideration. I think that many of the people out there are lost, because they are trying but they're fools as Paul said to the Galatians. Which ment spiritually lazy in seaking God's truth. So busy that they either don't have time to study or when they do study it's to validate what they heard and not to discern the truth of the word. It is is a subtle triick of the enemy, by keeping us busy trying to make a living rather than living.
Most people want what they believe is e best for themselves and their families and they're trying to find abundance through the worlds idea of abundance so they're working hard only to find they're still in the state of want. It is because of this that many are realizing that there is something more!
God knows what our hearts truly desires and He is willing to provide or I should say has provided it. But His desire is that we seek Him, not His hand as we do now with our sense of give me, give me, But He's saying "Seek My Face" which is a request for intimacy with Him. When we take the time to sudy for ourselves God is able to speak to our hearts and we began to understand what He has restored us to. The word says that we have been given the mind of Christ and that God has created within us a place where He can dwell. In my book that's grace beyond grace. We should be walking in purpose and excellence because of who we are through Him. We should be able to speak life into the things around us and see the evidence of His work.
Sorry didn't mean to get carried away but I feel that God is yet in control and He's allowing people to get caught out there because unfortunately most of us only seek His face after we've tried everything else and failed..

Hello to All,

Let me first begin with this actual fact. The Bible is the Jewish people’s testimony to the world of how God has helped them in their times of trouble with other races as well as personally helped them, am I right. Black Americans are nowhere written about in the Bible. We are not Persian, Jewish, Babylonians, Romans, Ethiopians etc., am I right.

Now, I am not saying neither is I implying anything negative about the Bible. I am adamantly saying that the Bible is not Black Americans guide from God. All prophets of God are the first guide to a people from God, am I right

For instance, Moses being Jewish gave testimony to the world of how God helped the Children of Israel in their 400 years of bondage and slavery under the Egyptian people. It is also Moses’ testimony that God gave to the Jewish people the 10 Commandments.

I caution you all that the Bible only tells the time for Jewish and European people just as the Quran only tells the time for Arabian people.

Prophets are racially different. God being the Creator of all races always anoints a prophet from their own races when God intends to visit that specific race for whatever reason. All prophets had specific duties assigned to them from God. Consequentially, what one prophet did have no bearing on what another prophet did since all assignments comes from God. Am I making any sense with you all?

One of the Prophet’s responsibilities is introducing their own people to God by giving religion to their own people. This is the reason why there are more legitimate religion than Judaism and Islam. However, the bigger picture why God sends prophets into the world to their own specific people is to resolve a problem or deal with an issue that only God could resolve or deal with as in the case of Moses and his people being in bondage and slavery in Egypt. Are you all still with me?

Now, we come to the good part. I am a genuine Prophet of God to resolve the 500-year-old problem of Black Americans slavery and present-day subjugation by White Americans. Neither White America nor Black Americans could resolve this issue. Black America is crying out to be sovereign free has reached the heavens and God has anointed me as when God anointed Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed etc. that their particular problem could be divinely resolved. Are you all still with me?

God has inspired me to know that Black Americans’ only permanent solution is that we become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

It took Moses a little over 20 years communicating God’s will to his people that the Exodus could take place. How long will it take me communicating God’s will to you all that our sovereignty could happen, I don’t know, since all prophets goes through a stage of rejection before they are taken seriously.

Tell me what you think.

My brother, please take this with kindness: We don't know what we are biblicly... there were no Black Americans in the time of the Bible. Does the early Scripture depict the plight of God's chosen people? Yes, I agree, but if you look at early history you'll find that in those days historians all believe we all looked alot more alike then we do now, Jews were described as having darker complextions and hair like lambs wool, feet the color of bronze, and, yes that's us! But the Bible reminds us that God is not a respecter of man. Skin color makes no difference to God; as a matter of fact, our colors are said to a product of protection as a resut of God scattering us and making us speak in different tongues...remember it was curse for trying to build the tower at Babel!
Remember that Jesus was the one who made it clear that God loves Jews and Gentiles alike.
Finally let me say this God's word is the truth and life for alll those who place it in their hearts, use caution and wisdom when speaking of God's word and the mind of God because tainting Gods word is damnation...be blessed.

Hello Mr. Jerome Bell,

If Jews were described as having darker complexion, hair as wool and feet as bronze, nevertheless, you know that a Jew is a Jew.

Mr. Bell my point is not about how we all looked alike in ancient times. I know what Black Americans look like, I see us every day. I know how Black Americans came into existence as well. I know that Black Americans are a new race or breed of people that has emerged out of the ashes of slavery. I know that Black Americans came about because of the breeding process between White American men mostly of British descent and African slave women of different kinds when slavery began in this country. Therefore, Black Americans are not written about nowhere in the Bible.

I know that the Bible is the testimony of the Jewish people to the world of how God has helped them in their times of trouble with other races as well as personally helped them, am I right. It is the testimony of Moses how God helped the Jewish people and their troubles with Pharaoh, am I right.

The religious book for Black Americans is forthcoming since God has now sent a genuine prophet to us, Black Americans. Just as God had sent, Prophet Moses to the Jews God has sent us our prophet as well. Our prophet will lead us out of subjugation and into sovereignty on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

Therefore, Mr. Bell let us stay on track and say what the facts are, only.

In addition, skin color is not my point. My point is that all prophets match their own race.

In other words, the precedents of God is that a Chinese prophet for Chinese people. A Jewish prophet as Jesus was Jewish to the Jewish people. As Prophet Mohammad was Arab, he was sent to the Arabian people. Consequentially, our prophet must be a Black American as we are. God never changes, am I right.

You must have an open eye and an open ear to recognize your prophet otherwise you will reject you prophet as every people in the past has done. Has not this been the custom of all people to reject their prophet since the first prophet that God has sent into the world?

Tell me what you think.

So is it your statnd point the the bible is untrue? Because you can't take part of it and leave what dosen't suit you. You are focusing on the physical man and the bible focuses on the Spirit Man, and there is no color in that aspect.
And if I were to think like you I would be saying that all through slavery in the counrty God turn a deaf ear to the cries of the slaves and that as a people with african roots we're still waiting to hear from Him?
I don't think that works for me, the God I serve does not live in time He is the beganing and the end, and has set everything in place that need to be in place. I am not a slave to man and because of Christ I no longer am a slave to sin. I have been sirtually lifted spiritually that I may worship at the feet of God.
finally allow me to offer this, the final verus in the bible seals it in that it says that anyone who adds to or trys to take away from the book will suer eturnal damnation. Evry thing we need to look at or do or need an answer to is within those 66 books.
Now my brother you may choose to believe what ever you like, I choose to believe what the bible says, not just because of what the book says and what my spirit identifies with but because of what God has done for me since I began to seek Him. The things that He's changed in my life is why I believe the bible s true for all people. As I continue study the bibl e the more I how it moves in our lives. You see I feel the way I do not just from knowledge but it' also from experience...experience plus Knowledge = wisdom.....Peace be unto you.

It is befitting that I re-interate that GOD IS! His Word IS everlasting. I cannot help but examine today's religious forum of GOD. We find men and or women taking what we want out of context and we then we fit or fix it to make our own views. The Word of God Is exactly what it is. GOD IS eternal. Christians who truly follow the WORD have gained a understanding in doing the work of Christ. That is the Jesus Christ is concrete foundation. You'll find men and women making claims they are God or God sent. Hiding even taking scriptures of the bible to slander those who follow are true followers Christ. Let me tell you, Chrisitians who are true are ready for the fight. We are ready for the scrurging we are ready for the spiritual battle and we have the victory in Jesus. How then, it is only by the blood of Jesus that we are bought. Yes, we are slandered for being who we are, yet still we remain true to the Cross of Christ. GOD IS! " THEY SHALL KNOW THAT I AM GOD!" So to all those who have the Christ in them there shall be nothing to separate us from love. When those who fight against God see the end result their mouth will call his name. All shall for it is written all tongues shall confess Jesus Christ. We who love the Lord will stand when others will fall. We are not afraid, for GOD IS with us.

Dear Mr. Whatley:

You ask me to explain what I found so inspiring in Mr. Bell’s comment.

Here it is:

First—he began with a message of love and compassion: “please take this with kindness.”

Then he referred to one of the most significant points in scripture: “But the Bible reminds us that God is not a respecter of man. Skin color makes no difference to God.”

Then he spoke of how difficult it is to discuss matters of religion and scripture in a meaningful way, reminding us to: “caution and wisdom when speaking of God's word and the mind of God because tainting Gods word is damnation.”

And finally, he ended it with a blessing for all. His message definitely lifted me up and put a smile on my face.

So that is how he inspired me.

Hello Mr. Bell,

Let me make it clear that I neither said nor implied that the Bible is untrue. What I have made clear is that the Bible is not the religious book to Black Americans from God. The Bible is strictly the testimonies of the Hebrew and European people to the world of how God helped them in their times of trouble, am I right.

Next, I do not believe that God has a deaf ear to any people crying out for help especially our enslaved ancestors. I believe that it is a matter of God timing when God decided to answer the cries of Black Americans. God have now sent us our own genuine prophet to lead us out of subjugation and into sovereignty or complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country borders.

Similarly, the Hebrew people cried for hundreds of years to God, but it was a matter of God timing. When God decided to sent Moses to lead the Hebrew people out of bondage and into the Promised Land, it was in accordance with God timing, am I right.

Consequentially, Moses being the same race as the Hebrew people is, Jesus being the same race as the Jewish people are and our prophet being the same race as Black Americans are is not a matter of skin color, but it is a matter of God assigning each prophet to their own race.

I do not think that the points I am making are difficult to understand. I compare and contrast my point with the Bible. I follow the same course of how God dealt with the Hebrew people that God will deal with Black Americans the same way, am I right.

Mr. Bell as we continue our dialogue, please agree with me so we could move on line by line and precept upon precept that we each could get something out of this dialogue, okay. If you disagree, it must be upon facts only, okay.

Now the first discrepancy to be resolved is whether the Bible is the Jewish people’s testimonies to the world of how God has helped them and that Black Americans are nowhere written about in the Bible, okay.

The next issue will be whether it is true that God match the race of all prophets to the race of the people they come to.

Our dialoguing should stay very interesting since you are on one side of the fence and I am on the other side, which means that only one of us has the true, and I right.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Shields,

Shields if you step back and objectively look at how you describes your benefits of being a Christian your testimony is identical to that of a recovering alcoholic or narcotics user in a recovery program.

In other words, drug abuse programs are nothing but psychological wherein the addicts psychologically support themselves to stay drug-free. Likewise, Black Americans Christians psychologically support each other in a religion that has nothing to do with us, am I right. The facts and truths of the Bible has everything to do with the Jewish people and not Black Americans, am I right.

For example, take the story of Moses. It is factual that the Hebrew people experienced the Exodus. It is factual that the Jewish people experienced Prophet Jesus. However, these experiences are not factual for Black Americans, am I right as well.

So, for Black Americans the Christian religion is equivalent to programs as Alcoholics Anonymous as I have explained above, am I right.

In other words, there is nothing that Black Americans today or our enslaved ancestors could factually relate to and testify that the events in the Bible happened to us, am I right. Consequentially, it is all a psychological thing for us Black Americans.

Now, the question is will Black Americans reject their prophet as the Jewish people have rejected their prophet, Prophet Jesus 2000 years ago.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Kigel,

Again, I think you are misunderstanding my point when I say that the prophets if you noticed are all racially matched with the people they served, which is not about skin color. In other words, my point is not about skin color. My point is that the prophets are the same race as the people God sent them to, am I right.

For instance, Prophet Jesus was a Jewish man and he was sent to the house of Israel. Prophet Mohammad was an Arab man and he was sent to the Arabian people. Likewise, I would it expect that when God sends Black Americans a prophet that prophet will naturally be a Black American?

Again, my point is not about skin color. My point is about how God does things. My point should not be too difficult for you to understand, Mr. Kigel. Now, am I wrong or am I right?

Tell me what you think.

Dear Mr. Whatley:

You make a good point about the origin of prophets.

BUT don't you agree that every individual human being has the right to choose who he or she wants to follow as a prophet? Nobody can take away that right. It is not legitimate for someone to DECLARE himself a prophet.

In some totalitarian societies, the ruling powers FORCED prophets on the people. I am thinking of Saddam Hussein's Iraq and Kim Jung Il's North Korea.
Those two characters declared themselves PROPHETS for their people and they did not serve their people well. Their propheting was completely self serving.

So if Black America needs a prophet, shouldn't each Black American have the opportunity to choose for himself? Self declared Prophets don't have such a hot track record. So why should it be you and not someone else?

Hello Mr. Kigel,

No Mr. Kigel. Individual human beings do not have the right to choose what prophet they want to follow. Let me explain why using Black Americans as my example while comparing and contrasting Black Americans to Moses and the Hebrew people as a check that I am right, okay.

Firstly, when the Hebrew people cried out to God for help it meant that the Hebrew people did not have the wherewithal to help themselves. Since they did not have, the wherewithal to help themselves they neither had the right to choose who would help them as well. The right to choose who would help them rests solely with God since God is the entity that will help them. Am I making any sense with you so far?

So, God chose Moses as their prophet to help the Hebrew people. Consequentially, Moses was not a self-appointed prophet. Likewise, God chose me to help Black Americans; therefore, I am not a self-appointed prophet either. Am I making any sense with you Mr. Kigel?

Secondly, God choosing a profit for the people follows the same principle as your mother and father whom you had not a choice to choose, yet God warns you to honor your mother and father. Do you understand the sense I am making with you?

So, the bottom line is that you do not have a choice to shop around and choose the prophet that you want to follow. You are admonished to follow the prophet God has chosen for you. God has chosen me as Black America’s first genuine prophet.

My task is to lead Black Americans out of subjugation and into sovereignty or complete independence from White Americans, on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. The time has come, as it was with the Hebrew people that Black Americans would have their hands on the helm of their own destiny.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Robert,

How could anyone trust that you have any sense when you are following Prophet Mohammad, Al Quran, Al Islam and all of these items are Arabian origin while you are a Black American man? Allah said to the Arabian people that they should believe in God and the prophet sent to them by God, which is Prophet Mohammad. Now, what prophet have God sent you Mr. Robert since you are A Black American and not an Arabian person? Are you so ignorant that you would think that Allah would send an Arabian Prophet to you while you are a Black American?

What makes you any different from a Black American Christian that follows the Jewish prophet, Prophet Jesus and the Bible? Are not both of you ignorant to be Black Americans yet following the ways, customs and rituals of other people that you are not of, am I right. Should you not look to God to have your own as God gave these other people their own?

Why do you not answer my questions?

Tell me what you think.

Brother Watley let say this for myself for I can speak for no one else, I don't know if you have read the bible but ifyou have I would suggest you try it again. I know a God who loves all mankind both Jew and Gentile alike. My testimony is I keep His word in my heart for He has saved me and turned my life around. You want to have long decussions to debate who God is and that's not whatmy God instructs me to do. My God is bigger then you and I and His word is true, not the ministers, not the prophet or any one else can have authority over Him. But He does not force you to accept Him or the Savior Christ, it's your choice, so it is with that statement I leave you with this, God has a blessing waiting for you if you are willing to accept Him and His word, If you do not then my job is cmplete by making you aware of that fact, the rest s up to you. He has made a great difference in my life and He can do the same for you. If you feel that you have something else to place your faith in then feel free to do so, however if you change your mind He'll be waiting for you. This will conclude my conversation with you on this matter because my job is not to make you believe, weather you do or not is between you and God Himself...Go in peace my brother

CELL PHONES VS. BIBLE... Ever wondered what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones? What if we carried it around in our purse or pocket? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we turned back to get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it when we travelled? What if we used it in case of an emergency? This is something to make you go...hmm...where's my Bible? And unlike our cell phone, we dont have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Knock knock! I knocked on heaven's door this morning. God asked me 'My child, what can I do for you?' And i said 'Father, please protect the person reading this message.' God smiled and answered, 'Request granted.'

Dee Gray
Hello Mr. Bell, Shields and Dee,

I understand the shortcoming of all of you to bow out, but I will not let any of you bow out with grace. Let me explain what is happening by using the story of Moses. I will compare and contrast the story of Moses to us as a people.
Now, when Moses was anointed as I was there were no witnesses. The experience is personal and private between God and I as it was with Moses. These incidents are right in the Bible. I am not telling you anything wrong, am I right.
It is obvious that anointed prophets comes only to people that are not on the right course. Now, I do not have to tell any of you that Moses people had fallen to worshiping the Egyptian gods. The Hebrew people being bondage and slavery for 400 years became strong worshipers in the Egyptian religion as Black Americans are in Christianity and Islam. I tell the Black Muslim worshipers that they must change as well. Our religion is, “The Salvation of God for the Sovereignty of Black Americans Who Are Descendents of Slaves. “ Nevertheless, Moses perseveres patiently opening the eyes of his people as I am doing with you all. Do you all not see that? During this time, many Hebrews thought Moses was out of his mind that Moses was not as they did believe in the ways and customs of the Egyptian people. They would always tell Moses that they were praying for him as you all say the same to me. They mocked and at times tried to hurt Moses that God would intervene. You all know the story of Moses very well, do you not?
So, I expect that you all would behave the same way towards me as the Hebrew people behaved to Moses. Am I making any sense?
Now, God had made Moses wiser than all of his people that when they could not overcome the wisdom of Moses they would bow out as you all are bowing out from me. Some would say you to yours and we shall have ours. Now, of course, Moses had to be wiser than his people were since Moses would lead them out of Egypt later on as I will lead you all out of our dire situation in White America and into sovereignty on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Everything that I say is going to happen. Most is people would always tell him that they are doing fine in Egypt and do not want any changes. Nevertheless, Moses patiently perseveres with the help of God to open the eyes of his people, as I must do the same with all of you. Are you all understanding what I am saying? Because, I am talking scripture, am I right.
Now, how many of you all could honestly say to yourself that you see that I am making sense when I contrast and compare everything to the story of Moses?
Now, I want all of you to understand that a prophet’s job is never easy. It took Moses a little over 20 years for his people to understand that Moses was their prophet that allowed the Exodus to take place.
Therefore, I have no idea how long it may take me to open the eyes of all of you since you all a very stubborn now. Perhaps, a year from now you all may begin to loosen up.

Tell me what you think before you bow out.

Sir you say you're not going to LET me bow out? You might choose to stay but that has no impact on what I do, but you are right about this I am going to to be stubborn about this because I see the what the problem is and for me that will never change. We walk two different paths, you have followed moses the man of God and I follow Jesus the son of God and let me the first to admit that I am very closed minded about this and that's ok because I can't nor do I desire to control what you believe that is ok sir, so I'll do what I belive is honorable and bid you go in peace and I will do the same. Shalom

Hello Mr. Bell,

Firstly, let me open you eyes that Moses and Jesus were the same in the eyes of God. It is not for you to decide which one is better than the other is since you; Mr. Bell had anointed neither Moses nor Jesus, am I right. In addition, I follow neither Moses nor Jesus since God have anointed me as Black America’s first genuine prophet to lead us out of subjugation in America and i into sovereignty on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. I am to do what Dr. King said that God had allowed him to see when he looked over the mountaintop; he said he saw us in the Promised Land. Therefore, I follow God as Jesus and Moses did. History shows that no people ever accepted their prophet. So, it is not surprising that you would be rejecting me, am I right.

It is hard for you to understand the simple things I say since you are close-minded as you said that you are. Moses people were close-minded that it took Moses approximately 20 years to open their close mindedness. Jesus people were close-minded as well, but in Jesus case things ended differently.

Jesus was overcome by his people’s rejection of him that he took his message to the Gentiles, which was a fatal mistake since God specifically sent Jesus to the Jewish people and not to the Gentiles. Jesus was a bigheaded person. However, when he realized that he had disappointing and angered God big-time he desperately beseeched God for forgiveness that he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane as he had never prayed. But, God did not forgive him and lifted Jesus divine protection and Jesus was crucified. Jesus personally felt that God could have forgiven him and that is why Jesus last words were that God had forsaken him. So, when you make your daily prayers ask God to forgive Jesus for his disobedience.

In closing, it would have been an enjoyable dialogue if you were not as close-minded as you admit that you are.

Peace to you as well

In N.D. Buddhism we have states of being we call the 10 Worlds...this world I will be describing in the comment fits those who are always taking any and all blogs off topics and, are always making being disrespectrul to our brothers and sisters on this site a way of life...

the 4th world, the World of ANGER :In this World awareness of ego emerges, but it is a selfish, greedy, distorted ego, determined to best others at all cost and seeing everything as a potential threat to itself...

In this state we value only ourselves and tend to hold others in contempt. We are strongly attached to the idea of our own superiorty and cannot bear to admit that anyone exceeds us in anything.

Peace and lov to all.(smile)

"I" do know from my persoanl experiences with MIISRAEL that she has the power to get people like M-E to better understand that there are just too many of us out here who have no idea that there are Christians and there are Christians. example,

All Christians do not use and abuse their Christian faith to abuse nonChristians."I" speak as one who stop being a practicing Christian because "I could not tell this differences.Oh, many others on this site helped also when they believed me when I would always say that "I' am a N.D. Buddhist, but I still believe in Jesus Christ.

This has meant a lot to me to go beyond being personal bias /prejudice and accepting me for who I am. I am a decent and caring human being who demands the same respect as I give.(smile)

Actually Harry I am only interested in how you keep changing your thinking a new way to get your message across...your words Harryyou have no Bible and you will get one after you get the land and the people to follow you...which leaves you only one thing to do pass out insults and saying how stupid and critizing we are of you for seeking your guidance...like where in the holy hell did you get your story about Moses from and in whose language, whose books yours or the White man...You do seem to speak english and talk about the very same lessons taht the White man teaches from their Bibles...WHAT WILL YOU CHANG NOW TO ANSWER OR JUST KEEPING ON RAMBLING ALONG LIKE SOME ONE SEEKING A PURPOSE IN LIFE.LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
