Everybody! I have a few news stories. You're not in the twilight zone just in Winniespoetry Hometown Memphis, Tennessee.

HERE'S A MINUS ON A ROAD..
THAT'S THE SIGN POST UP AHEAD..IT READS ROAD CLOSED!

If you're traveling on interstate 440, or I-40 over this weekend, you'll run into road sign that becks for a minus. No traffic will be allowed to take the I-440, and I-40 passes. Work crews will close the small stretch of highway which will remain closed through Monday 01.25.2010 no later than 6:30 a.m. That's if all is a plus and everything is finished by the Tennessee Department of Transporation. Crews will also close I-40 eastbound ramp at White Bridge Road on January 23rd. The detour will be getting off White Bridge Road or Briley Parkway exit at 51 Avenue driving a quarter mile and then to White Bride Road Exit 205. Minus the detour everything else is smooth driving.

The Mississippi State Senate passes tougher penalities for drivers who continue to pass by school buses on either side of the stop sign. It is illegal for motorists to by-pass school buses with it's stop sign out. The new tougher bill was prompted by the death of a Mississippi 5 year who was struck by a car last December killing him after he exited the school bus. The new law will present a PLUS of a $500 fine and another PLUS of 1 year in prison. The bill will also increase a PLUS penalities if a child is injured by a passing motorist. That penality is no where near a minus of $5000!

It's plus or minus that you obey those school bus laws!...Watch out for the bus sign and stay behind!

THE BIRTH OF BABIES from 2009 WAS AT A MINUS!
BIRTHING RATE IN TENNESSEE WEREN'T VERY FAMOUS!
The 2009 figures of the births in Tennessesee is showing a decrease of birth in their 60 years of recordkeeping. This data was collected at the Tennessee Department of Health. Reporting showed that there were 76,739 live births in Tennessee in 2009. That records shows a minus of 10,000 less births than in 2008. The rate dropped from 13.9 live births per 1000 people. That was a historic decline of 12.4 percent of little babies being born.
The national birth rate tends to be rising to a plus, and that's a minus low depending on the national economy. However, the memory of past the economy didn't change much. The Tennessee Department of Health also noted that chances are those swinging cribs will return to a rise! Nurseries at the many hospitals across the state are filling those beds with babies again.

Get ready to change some diapers! Momma's and Papa's babies births are on the plus side for 2010.
