Thunderstorms Rage on the Mid-South

Three rounds of thunderstorms slammed its way into Memphis on Saturday. The day was full of heavy rains. The thunderstoms came in three intervals. It stormed and then the sun came out, then it stormed again...the sun came out and it stormed again. Some Memphis neighborhoods experienced hail, and high winds which caused uprooted trees and at least 8,000 customers of the power company Memphis, Light Gas and Water lost power. All's been restored, and no fatilities were reported. It was a messy branch and tree pick up though!

TORNADO TAKES A SLAM..AT YAZOO!

Thunder, lightening and tornados ripped through Yazoo, Mississppi leaving many residents homeless and without businessess. The mayor of Mississippi, Haley Barber visited Yazoo City to look at and take a toll of the damages. Barber said he grew up in Yazoo as a kid. Many of the town's residents will need assistance. The storms slammed thru other places like Missouri, Arkansas and Alabama. A death toll as of 8 a.m. this morning was at 12. Three were children.
Pray for them will you OR give a moment of silence? Seriously...They'll be needing some SLAMMING GOOD PRAYERS! AMEN.

Blight is has become a more ugly notion to Memphis. The Mayor of Memphis, A.C. Wharton is continuning to conduct an effort to fight blight. Now, another community is making complaints on what was once the Mana Cove Apartments. The building has been ramshacked and trash and garbage sits in its empy lot. The apartment shows definate signs of neglect and is another picture of blight. City officials has warned the owners, if something isn't done SOON...it's on the SLAM! The Demolition Man will be taking it DOWN....TIMBER! SLAM!
"I liked that movie with Snipes and Stallone...Demolition Man! ...Even that singer remembers that song! Cause she's slammin!... I'm a Demolition man! Can you take a slam at the real singer's name? "Tell me...Slam!.. I've forgot!"

A resident of the Stone Gate Apartments got slammed with a blazing hot moltov cocktail! The resident kept confidential-- had a window broken out with that firing ball , but the blaze didn't catch fire after it landed. Only leaving a slam of a mess! Firefighters were on the scene to make sure no fire would ignite. Strong fumes filled the apartment which could have ignited later.
Man I tell you that singer is on the SLAM! BAMM!!

A Clarkville, Tennessee man is behind bars after terrorizing a neighborhood and commiting an act of murder. Tim Robbins was arrested and placed in the slammer after he raided a home and beat up a local family. One member of that household died from his brutal attack. The man is SLAM! behind the jail cell. Some neighbors said they're glad he is finally slammered in.
SLAM! Just look at the time...I've got to go! Been nice writing these stories though. Put on some old school music. You can SLAM with yo'self!
