Memphians and Shelby County experienced it's double doses and triple doses of rains and thunderstorms with tornados warnings and watches this morning. People around Memphis town may wanted to sing one of those rain songs. Heavy rains drenched over Memphis in a tub of flash flooding in some areas and damages of water to homes and businessess. However, most Memphians were not frighted over the downpours. Most of them went about their daily Saturday duties. Traffic was met with high waters in streets an underpasses. Most people stayed home and watched the storms roll by. The predicted weather was right on schedule, which landed rains and storms paths around many counties in Memphis and Arkansas. One death is blamed from a tornado in Arkansas, and many injuries. Guess what? More rainshowers are expected. Recent rains bring back sweet memories that it rained last weekend too!
Let the rain fall down upon her.....she's a sweet and gentle flower growing wild!

Mayor A.C. Wharton is dedicated to putting Memphis back into the star light. That's as to becoming a recognizable city of growth. The mayor's goal is to highlight tourists to return to Memphis and also to bring back a more positive city among it's own citizens and visitors. To begin his goal of rainbows, the Mayor has been making recent visits to Washington and talking before the House of Representatives about predatory lending. The Mayor says many like Memphis cities misses out on federal aid, because they haven't been in the radar. Memphis is the 18th largest city in the America. However, since 1970 Memphis has not been getting very much positive publications. Memphis hasn't received very good publicity in recent years due to what some people believe it's very little is known about Memphis. Down pours from magazines like Forbes has placed Memphis as a high crime city that suffers with depressed people. Forbes stated that Memphis was one of the most miserable cities to live. Which the Mayor wrote a petition against the magazine's statement. The Mayor is working diligently at returning Memphis it's once beautiful rainbow. He aiming for ONE MEMPHIS! "One Memphis City Beautiful."
Memphis was once called "One of America's most Beautiful Cities"
I'm finding a pot of GOLD!!!... Really, I think Memphis is a great place to live!
THIRD RAIN SONG:
"It's raining men....Hallelujah!..It's raining men!"
MEN AND WOMEN JOIN TOGETHER AGAINST
AFTER SCHOOL FIGHTS!
04.30.2010
Memphis, Tennessee
The Wooddale School community has recent forged together to end several after school fights and street brawls. Students from Wooddale High School met and had a street brawl which was video taped by a cell phone. The recording showed where students were fighting furiously in the street and one young man in the crowd drew out a gun. No one was seriously injured, but it rained down enough attention that the parents and police departments will beef up more watchful preventions of incidents like this one. One Memphis man said that men and women who are not working during after school times, should pick up their child. Another suggestion is that any men who will volunteer stand on the corners near where fights occur to oversee that students are encouraged to go straight home safely. As one former gang member was quoted as saying: "You're going to get a lot of parents who are going to be in denial about their child." A real parent would say, "I don't want to catch you around." "If you see a fight go the other way."
``Raindrops keep falling on my head...but that doesn't mean my eyes will be soon be turning red....``Crying not for me...I'm never gonna stop the raindrops from falling...
because I'm FREE....

Nothing worrying .........me. :>)
