ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
"SO THAT I SHOULD HEAL THEM"
During a recent reading in a verse from The Book of Acts I came upon the verse where Paul was speaking to the Jews concerning things said by Jesus and the Law of Moses and the Prophets. Some who listened disbelieved and caused disagreement and left after Paul said one word. "The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet of our fathers." Paul elevated his speech of how God heals nations. Hearing what he stated caused the Jews to dispute among themselves. Isaiah spoke of how God would be sent to the Gentiles. Our nations and governments...you may wonder sometime if they have eyes, and ears. Do they the nations and its leaders hear and see how God can heal them? So many nations "still disputing" keep nation's governments and it's people set apart from God.
"SALVATION HAS BEEN SENT TO THE GENTILES!"
"Saying:
"Go the this people and say
"Hearing you will hear and shall not understand;
And seeing you will see, and not perceive;
For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
And their eyes have closed.
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears.
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn.
So that I should heal them."
[Acts 28: 26-27]
