Today I feel it's necessary to tell you about wooden nickels. These old quotes were meant to be a teaching tool in life's lessons. You might find them foolish, but I'm determined they have some significance as well because they contain some value of guidance.
These are fast living days, everything is express--, zip and zap, heat and eat, run and fetch and along the way you have to watch out for those who want to use you. They'll take advantage of anything you have and they'll use what you have tricking you into all kinds of deals and manuevers. Giving you "wooden nickels" in the process. So be careful and use common sense in making or taking deals, commitments or settlements ---and by all means during your journey think of this quote:
"Don't take no wooden nickels"
People will decieve you...stay alert and watch what you do.
