Fading away your old ways of living...
Grace Is Unto You!
God has great promises for those who separate themselves from things unclean and things that defile the body and spirit. The Word teaches you that you should no longer be yoked with those who do things liken by the unbelievers.
In order to encourage you to stay aware of the obedience of God you are reminded by the Word that your body is the temple of the Lord. Of course, many times you will incur to be tempted however, when you are and you can receive forgiveness if you are contrite in heart and you repent. Troubles will come and go, yet still as True Believers of the Faith of God and Christ you have to draw the line when you are lured to return to your old ways of life. Your new life is directed into living holy and clean. You should never allow yourself to become yoked back together in things you once did. You are rapidly encouraged and warned to depart away from containments and have no unity in doing that with what is wrong.
Since you have deliverance with God you have a brand new life. A life which God will fulfill with joy, peace and that you'll be subjected to total obedience. Then he will call you his sons and daughters. He will be your Everlasting Father.
Therefore come out from them and be separate
says the Lord.
"Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you."
"I will be a Father to you and you will be my
sons and daughters." says the Lord Almighty.
[2 Corinthians 6: 17-18]
Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us
purify ourselves from everything that contaminates the body
and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverance for God.
[2 Corinthians 7:1]
