Blacks in this country have a history of picking the WRONG leaders. Estimates of approximately 80% of African Americans voted for President Obama. After about 2 years, are we any better off ?..NO..is there more money in your pocket ?..NO...Is there less discrimination in America? NO....Now the whites want to tear him apart. First, they build him up to be a savior, now he is said to be worst than former Pres Bush. Republicans stand to gain enough seats to take over the house come November elections. African Americans need to trash our guidelines for picking out leaders, because again and again..we are picking the wrong people.

It is subjective what American president served the citizens in the United States best. The point here is that the white majority will attempt the skin our African American President alive. Their racist portrayels of a monkey with big ears and funny lips. Views and opinions from his own staff becoming weak at best. His friends turning belly up, leaving the President to hold the bag, for example, the chief of staff Emanuel. If fact, some of the democrat senators and governors up for election want to stay clear of Pres. Obama due to his slip in the polls.

Black Americans all over the United States had the idea with the "YES WE CAN" slogan, they would get relief with employment and urban grants for various renewal projects.......wrong..Pres. Obama's hands are tied...White people do not want to work with him to make him successful for fear he may make them and their previous presidents too terribly bad. So the whites want to make him look like a fool...and now we see all out to lynch him today.

They said don't forget to vote...All black folk in America was suppose to vote for the savior lawyer from Chicago. According to Socrates...if you want righteous society, first thing you do is get rid of all the lawyers...so I knew that President Obama was not the answer....now the rest of my people will soon learn that politics is NOT THE ANSWER.

C..I vote to win. There is nothing Pres. Obam can do about the predicament black Americans find themselves in except to fund a project to develop Africa to a level of modest industrialization. And those fund go directly to skilled Black Americans. Other than that....I expect the white majority to begin to talk about the first African American president like a dog.

Irma, sorry, but little Abraham do not buy into games. If Pres. Obama says he is going to pull out, then why leave 30 to 50 thousand troops as a standing army IN IRAQ. Will America stay in Iraq like we stay in North Korea. America SHOULD GET OUT OF IRAQ....ALL OF THE TROOPS....EVERY ONE....NEEDS TO LEAVE. That is what a withdrawel really means.

At what point do we as a people stop pointing fingers at someone else and start pointing them at ourselves. I was excited to be a part of this group and thought we were going to focusing on how we can help lift oursleves out of this state.
Our children are killing each other, more money is put in the neighborhoods to prevent crime...that should be used for job creation.
Our children are dropping out of high school at an alarming rate...what are WE doing about this? More money(stimuls) was put in the education system so teachers would not be laid off. But are we as black parents going to parent teacher meeeting and making sure our children are getting what they need educationally from these teachers?
I am not in total agreement of everything the president has done . But, I would support him again if he runs

Dorothy..your optimism is heartwarming but the salvation of Black Americans is not going to come via the white house. There has to be a divine intervention. Across the Midwest public schools are closing in consolidation due to the alarming youth dropout rate that you mentioned. Unemployment and crime is on the increase and we are hearing less and less of the "yes we can" jargon. White people seating a black person in the white house does not change the prejudice and discrimination in this country.

Sure, Daniel, Pres. Obama must serve the American People....just like the other 44 white presidents have been serving the people. But, the white presidents LEARNED how to funnel monies to favored white groups within the constraints of the law. Why can't our African American president figure out how to shift funds to the African American minority within the confines of the law. Afterall, He is a lawyer.

Almost like masterbation, pleasure without substance...joy without a child. Black Americans continue to window dress for the Kingdom of God unstead of doing what is necessary for the actual kingdom of God. White Americans thought if a black man can come in our office and use his Harvard degree to patch some of our legislative flaws, so be it. But, the American government is too far corrupt for one man to patch up. No one can patch up America's wrong doings..they are too far gone. It seems best to pickup any spending measures from the Presidential office to benefit urban communities across America. Dollars in the form of grants to help cities like Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Baltimore, Oakland to rebound from high-tech skill training. We have 2 more years to help make it happen because at the rate President Obama's numbers are falling....he looks to lose his re-election bid for the White House.

Please explain to me why we need special treatment ? I look at my Black Enterprise magazines and see my people on the move and get inspired....maybe you should take a look at the magazine sometime. We can't be expected to be treated as equals if we want/need extra help.
Even more so with the country being in debt and will soon have to cut services/programs, we need to get our act together. We need to learn to use whatever money/resources more wisely.

Lets face it, as we try to deviate from the blog...President Obama is not the Savior of Blacks in America..bottom line. He cannot deliver us to God's Divine Kingdom. He(the President) has aged and learned that no matter how hard he tries, he can NEVER please the white people. They would continue to raise the bar. What they paint is a dummy in the white house with a Harvard education. Though, he has accomplished what Hillary Clinton, as wife of President Bill Clinton, could not.
Black Americans should think about a black president of a black nation of land that they own. Any thing short of that is a joke at best.

President Obama is our brother and I will always respect him as our brother. I applaud him for trying to do the right thing by helping to get this economy back on track by providing more jobs and better healthcare for all our people.
But President Obama never said he was perfect, nor did he say he was God. Life as we know it will not change unless we of course be about stepping up and accepting responsibility to rebuild our communities.

Seriously now... I felt that Pres Obama was elected as a pacifier for African Americans... given us that sense of hope and change seeing someone like (us)... ((while on the back burner.... the governent wanted to have a scape goat to blame for the continued failures of our governemnt....
Well... i honestly believe they underestimated the abilities and intelligence of Obama's grass root style politics abilities.
BUT not to take away from the theme of the blog... we do not like in a dictatorship we do not have to praise a statue of our President... so no... to say our President is a Savior as if he's all powerful ... all knowing... is ??##$%*@!
