ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
...earning the merits of good...
GOOD DAY!
Your day can be good… and you a follower of good deeds will have days representing the presence of God who is always good. Godly abiders trust in and do good things. They contain minds of serving in goodness and godliness of a kind spirit. Calmness will surround you and peace within you will conduct you in steps of endeavors of meekness during your day. If you are obedient to the Law of the Lord, your goodness will be found in living by it. None will be able to have you turn from it, or abase it.
Commandments of God teach goodness in all persons. If you act in showing goodness, you will find yourself edifying God who allows you to take part in his very ways of goodness. You will find peace daily in your comings and goings. Your conversations will ones of meekness, gentleness and easy words which you’ll follow by being a doer of the Word of the Lord. There is no law against applying meekness-- you are free to show meekness in all acts of your works each day.
If at all possible, allow yourself duties applicable in all things without disruptions or disputing and even murmuring. This will keep you in a position where you are blameless and posing no threats to your character or the Holy Spirit which lives in you. All these are illustrated by what you do, say, and transpose to others who may be closely watching you. If you show these qualities even they may come and believe you are truly earning “The Merits of Good” shown by God and placed as treasures for you in heaven. "Good days where there is always light!"
See that none render evil for evil unto any man;
but ever follow that which is good,
both among yourselves, and to all men.
