One of most luxtury lines cruise providers Carnival Cruises Corporation had one one of it's ship catch fire leaving 4,500 passengers stranded at sea. The fire ignited from the ship's engine room earlier this week leaving the ship practically helpless at sea. Backup power provided some refrigeration to food but soon power was lost on board left passengers without air-conditioning, no hot water and cell and internet services. Conditions to passengers is worn down to heated enviornments. Drifting a float for two days, tug boats arrived on Tuesday night to carry the large ship to San Francisco, however it may still be several days before arriving to port. Helicopters have air lift emergency water and foods to it's large group of traverlers. The U.S. Coast guard additionally sent help to aid it's weary crew and passengers. Carnival Corporation has agreed to give it's passengers a full refund and possibly offer them another cruise at a later date. Quick action saved the boat from total fire destruction and there were no casulaties or injuries reported. The costly refunds may hurt the Carnival Corporation and to make up for losses may mean an increase in cruise fees. Panic is at a mininual but passegeners are eager to set foot on safe ground. The journey was not exactly the cruise they had in mind. The ship is one of Carnival's Mexican cruises.
