Volunteers serve in 77 countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, and the Middle East. Peace Corps Volunteers live, learn, and work with a community overseas for 27 months, providing technical assistance in six program areas: education, youth and community development, health, business and information and communications technology, agriculture, and environment.

The problem is that many volunteers are recent college grads with little to no real world experiences. In addition, Peace Corp volunteers respond to crisis after a storm disaster and such. They are spread out to many world nations rather than just a few. Their assistance is medical treatment and emergency relief so that day to day operations of a nation is hardly affected by the Peace Corps.

Nation Building Group targets Africa and focuses on an upgrade to industrialization. Volunteers are experienced and focused on single aspects of nation enhancements. This makes nation building more effective when it comes to changes in a African nation's overall economy and gross national product.

People helping people is always good...no problem with that. Problem is when you compare intention versus delivery. Assistance in African nations are so marginal from the peace corp that it is hard to demonstrate a differance.
