Blessing of Christmas!
There is not much else comparable to the story told as the birth of Jesus. Though many may see such a supermiraculous event as made up, those who are true believers of it see it as one of the most special truths man could ever know. The birth of The Messiah. Such an happening foretold by prophets of God thousands of years before finally came to be. Even today, we find such appeal in the happiness of this birth of the Christ. This remembering makes us exceedingly joyful!
BEHOLD!
Given today's societies in that of all the elements of shopping and buying gifts and even the aiding to the less fortunate persons and children generates a pleasant warming the hearts of men. Did such an event of this birth cause all this to be known in man? If not, then why do men pass so eagerly to celebrate with the gifts and giving? There is something very extraordinary happening in the celebration of the True Savior's birth. Even those not prone to the Christmas story somehow still break loose the contradictables they believe and give in the sharing of gifts! I've witness many unbelievers who do so every Christmas Season. Truly a birth as the babe born of God has impacted the world-- even when they are blind or deny in the truth of the Lord Jesus being born as the Son of God!
THE STAR!
The Word tells of the miracle birth and how men followed a star to Bethelem to kneel down before the King and presented to him gifts and treasures of gold, frankincese and myrrh. These were expensive gifts deserving of a King that had much ado with the God of Heaven. A star of David and the Son of God! Surely, the moment was a rejoicing one with praises on high and a celebration of a miracle of God.
CHRISTMAS TODAY...
Now following a star we too can celebrate in remembering the love of Christ by his birth, his death, and his rising again! This is still the celebration of Christ today--projected by the star to behold Jesus who is celebrated by the world, even when the world continously denies his story. Christmas is continually celebrated as; and forever the birth of Christ, The Messiah.
Behold the Star!
Behold The Christ!
Then Herod, when he had secretly call the wise men,
determined from them what time the star appeared.
And he sent them to Bethelem and said.
"Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when
you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I
may come and worship Him also."
When they heard the king, they departed, and behold,
the star which had they had seen in the East went
before him, till it came and stood over where the
young Child was.
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with
exceedingly great joy!
[Matthew 27-10]
When they had come into the house, they
saw the young Child with Mary His mother,
and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they
had opened their treasures, they presented gifts
to Him; gold, frankincense and myrrh.
[Matthew 2:11]
BE ENRICHED....
