COLD CASE IN HENNING DISCLOSES
A NEWLY MASKED LEAD

Henning, TN
Henning, Tennesse is the same town known as the home of Author Alex Haley, and now a new connection of Henning is known for the cold case of two United State Postal workers who were slain in October 2010. Evidence in the case went cold. No one knew, saw or heard anything in the two murders. This week a new opening showed up as police arrested Chastain Montgomery who confessed for having part in the shootings of the two female clerks. Montgomery was arrested for other charges relating to his own son's death. Later it's reported he confessed that he was part of the crime. In a twist of turns, Montgomery's son was killed by police last year in a chase down where he was shot fleeing a scene and aiming guns at police officers. Chastain faces 3 felonies and one misdemeanor, tampering with evidence, resisting a stop and frisk, accessory after the fact of a crime and theft. When he was arrested the cold case finally had some elements to the mysterious deaths of the postal workers. Next Montgomery will be in for trial and possible conviction of his share in the murders. Detailed information of his share in the killings is still under investigation as more of this story develops. Police are not giving much information of his confession clues at this time.

The small town of Guy, Arkansas has been plagued with at least 100 earthquakes in a 24 hour period. The town experiences earthquakes and trembling also everyday! Some experts say the activity may be caused by underground gases in the earth's core around the town. Last year the town's shaken by a 4.0 earthquake which caused very little damage, and no injuries or death; but distrubed the people of the town. Since so many earthquakes are occuring many people of the town are not certain if or when a big quake will come. Until then the activity is consistant and continues.
That's a shake'em up dance!

EARLY VOTING & THE MCS CHARTER
HAS MUMMER'S GIVING SEVERAL ACTS

Act 1
Early voting polls opened on Monday, February 16, 2011 in the Dowtown Memphis location for those who wanted to go Pro or Con for the merge of the Memphis City School Charter to be surrendered to the Shelby County Schools adminstration. Many forums were held this week to sort how, or just exactly what does it all the consolidation mean and how can voters really determine what to do?
Act 2
Many parents and MCS students had a duke out of words with the MCS school'S superintent last night a forum which left bitter words for Kriner Cash job in question. Now it's rumored that Cash may be hiding plans that he's looking to resign. However, no specfics are set this is true.
Citizens for a Better Education begun airing radio ads to attract voters to go vote and there has be issusing of a lawsuit by the Shelby County Education Council against the MCS City Council for voting to surrender the merger as illegal.
Act 3
Other mummers shows were acts of The Norris Bill being passed in Nashville as the governer signed and approved that even after voting in the MCS merger done, a 3 year waiting period would uphold the merger converging until all plans are set in motion.
Act 4
Voter's turn out has been small in early voting, but March 8th is the voting date. Legal battles also are set in the undercurrents of this merge and new revelations of laws are being searched and examined that will assure the Memphis City School and the City Council are meeting all provisions of the law.
Act 5
The City of Memphis has also been reminded to pay back the law suit awarded MCS in an amount for over 5 million dollars which was used for city's projects instead of the MCS . That makes a mummer's reading in which the city will not escape..to pay it all back even with the merger of the school's charter. The Mayor of Memphis is discussing ways to pay back the school of it's money over a 4 year period. Which will possible lead to budget cuts and maybe lay-offs or higher housing taxes.

100 GIRLS GET TO BE A PRINCESS
AT A MUMMER'S "RED AND WHITE BALL!"

100 girls who are members of Girls Inc. got to be pampered and beautified on Friday as they prepared attend the annual "Red and White Ball" to be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 6:00p.m. The event is sponsered by Girl's Inc and is held annually to raise self-esteem to girls who are members or non members. The 100 girls ranged from ages 6years to 18 years and all nationalities and religions. The Red and White Ball is a special event for these girls and they are encouraged to bring their dads as their dates, but those whose dads will be a "no show" can still enjoy the ball with fun and the delights of the party. The 100 girls got to spend all day Friday at the spa, the salon, getting their hair, nails and makeup done all in pampering before tonight's at the ball. They'll all look like princessess in costume.
