MEMPHIS CAUGHT A WINDING ROAD IN A STORMY MONDAY
April 04, 2011
Memphis, TN

ON set!...
A heavy rainstorm travelled through Memphis and parts of Tennessee, Arkansas and even Kentucky and other southern places in Mississippi yesterday. Downpouring rains with winds gusting and winding up tearing down trees and power lines and even shattering glass in many tall buildings throughout the City of Memphis. There were reports of hailing in some places. Memphis did suffer one tragedy as one man was killed when he touched a live wire as he cleared a fallen tree from his yard. Power was knocked out to over 60,000 Memphis customers. Many power poles will need replacing and some residents of Germantown and Cordova will not have power until Friday.

That was a windy blow!!!...winding it up followed by such a beautiful sunny day..
that storm winded up leaving much damage..and pick up and salvages to many homes.

ROADS OF GATLINBURG HAVE FILLED
WITH WATER WASTES
04.05.11
Gatlinburg, Tennessee

A waste water treatment tank which failed leading to the death of two employees at the Veolia Water North Treatment Plant in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on Tuesday, April 05, 2011. Officials said it is uncertain why the water system collapsed. The 40 foot wall gave way and was loaded with untreated sewage at the facility. The untreated water also is said to be leaking solids of raw sewage in the nearby Little Pigeon River and are warning residents not to go near the water ways because of possibly hazardous conditions. It's reported at least and additionally 850,00 gallons are flowing but the company reports there is no reason not to drink any of the municipal drinking water in nearby Sevier County. The private company expressed their sympathy to the family of the two employees and will assistance in any funeral expenses. It was also said that OSHA has never had any problems with conditions or violations of the waste company operations or with any inspections ever conducted there until this water mishap.

DOWNSIZING FIRE VEHICLES
THAT TRAVEL ON MEMPHIS STREETS
MAY WIND UP WITH RISKING
MORE...
April 04, 2011

Firefighters wind up in many roles, often serving a in a medicial emergency rather than fires. With this is mind local firefighters will be facing driving a downsized emergency vehicle instead of the over large fire trucks. Many city officials and fire officials are debating if safety is in winding up in jeopardy when it comes to fire saftey calls. The potential steps will send out a medical vehicle first, then going back if there's a fire to retrieve the larger truck to put out the fire. There are a few courses of actions in question and most are looking at which is the best road to take.

It's still in discussion...but somehow that seem like taking a winding road
back and forth in to the same places TWICE! ....THAT WINDING ENOUGH!
