VATNAJOEKULL!!!
Immediate news show that Sunday's morning was met with a volcano in Iceland errupting sending one the largest spews record known. Grimvoetn's Vatnajoekull shot off its explosion at least 12 miles in the sky. Girmsvoetn is located in the heart of Iceland's biggest glacier. Sources stated the volcano started its eruption on late Saturday, May 22, 2011. This active vocalno has been under watch since last year's eruption of Eyjafjoel. Europe air travel has been placed on the ground due to the high ash and has shut down flighs to and from Iceland. Ash is expected to travel in Norwegian air space, but the widespread is said to be minimal according to Iceland Meteroligical Officers. Experts are comparing the volcano to Eyjafjoel eruption during World War II, but don't expect Vatnajoelkull to have the lasting effect or impact as Eyjafjoel did.
No tragedies reported.
