(NewsCore) - A New Jersey barber was arrested after allegedly biting a customer's ear in half after he complained about how long his haircut was taking, the Times of Trenton reported Friday.
James Dillard, 40, was cutting a 24-year-old customer's hair Thursday at the Beauty and the Beast Barber Shop in Trenton, N.J., when the customer complained that the haircut was taking too long, police said.
The customer decided to get up and leave the barber shop. He slammed the door on his way out, shattering the glass in it.
Dillard ran outside and confronted the customer. An altercation ensued, and Dillard bit the customer's ear nearly in half, according to police.
Dillard was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The customer was treated at a local hospital.
