VANCOUVER'S VIOLENT RIOT!!! (774 hits)

World News

15TH DAY
Vancouver, BC

What led to such a violent riot last night in Vancouver?

Reports indicated that drunken fans took to the streets after the Vancover Canucks were defeated by the Boston Bruins game. Wild and drunken fans took it hard after losing in the Stanley Cup finals. Fans rampaged with setting fires, looting smashing windows of stores and acting like hooligans! Not only were there lootings but several people were injured with stabbings and mild injuries as well. The police had a difficult time with the rowdy crowd sprayed tear gases to dispurse the temperament and rage of the disappointed fans. Every thing went wrong as far as toning down the angry mob of fans. Many said that it all just went crazy and the crowd just all reveled with rampart emotions of incapacity of violence. The city of Vancouver had never experience such violence before over a loss of a game.

"Over a game?" Come on...
Somebody's gotta to lose, somebody's is gonna win...
Duugh!
"Ouch!..Hey who threw that puck!"

Now, I see why some people hate crowds.

I don't think there is enough attention paid to how violent Hockey players and the fans are. Do you remember the incident that happened when NBA players went into the stands to retaliate agaisnt a fan that threw a fountain drink at him? Such a big deal was made of that incident, eh. Look at the way these people in hockey play. There's this thing they do called, "body checking" where they actually attack/tackle other players which has caused many injuries and even one fatality. The players in hockey are always fighting and the refs watch them fight it out while the fans screem and cheer. It's quite a VIOLENT sport.
