Salmon, Idaho
Oh...flying deer it's not Christmas!
But instead of the lights being turned on at least 30 customers in Salmon, Idaho lost power when a fawn was discovered on a high voltage wire line. The small deer had been prey to a Bald eagle which lost its grip while flying with over the wire dropping it on the wire. One of the Northwestern spokeswoman said that a dangling deer on a line had never happened before. When one of the neighbors saw the deer flying over he was stunned! The report said the deer fawn was only a few days old. Eagles wingspans can be be nearly 8 feet and they can weigh up to 14 lbs. or more. The power was restored in about a half hour as work crews & also removed the deer's carcus from the wire.
I found this to be
AN ODD STORY
Bird on a wire but certainly not a deer!
Each time these stories are becoming
more odder than ever...
"I must be getting old."
Blowing bubbles...)OOOOOOOOOOOO
I'll see you around.
