An all so sudden and alarming report was released from the International Programme on the State of the Ocean {PSO} annouced that scientists warn that human mass extinction is prevelant like never before in the history known to mankind.
The preliminary report stated the causes of the urgent notice of human non-existing will be caused by the degeneration in the oceans happenings much faster than predicted, and the combination of factors currently distressing the marine enviornment has credited the precise conditions known in the Earth's history. Three factors were noted from the report has occured in the past, an increase of hypoxia [or low oxygen] and anoxia [the lack of oxygen that create "dead zones"] in the ocean waters and warming and acidification. The panel of scientists warns that the combination of all three factors will inevitably cause a mass marine extinction if swift action isn't taken to improve conditons. This latest report is one of several published in recent months. One report from the World Resources Institute suggested that all coral reefs could be gone by the year 2050 if there no action to preserve them. Another study from the BioSciene declared that oysters as "functionally extinct" with populations decimated by over-harvesting and disease. Other aids of destructions of waters shows high levels of nitrates and phosphates from fertilizers. . . And from the journal Nature experts suggests that the next mass extiction be man-made is already underway. This the report stated this will definately occur.. "Unless humans make significant changes to their behavior."
