PROTESTORS SAYS NO TO GIVING UP A POTENTIAL CURE (285 hits)

NATIONAL NEWS
JUNE 2011
29th Day

Women and young ladies lined up a protest in two-day hearing in front of the FDA on Tuesday to make testimony of how the drug Avactin should still be permitted to use. The protesters claimed the helpful medication has been a postive one in aiding women with breast cancer. FDA studies indicates that the medical treatment imposes more health threats to women using the drug which involves high blood pressure and putting them in danger of stokes and also heart conditions or heart attacks. FDA also related that the drug was to be used in prelimary usage only, and that the progressive rate in women taking the drug showed no cure or actually helped in treating their metastaic breast cancer. Thus, FDA suggested that the risks were outweighing the benefits in treatment and will withdraw the drug from usage in breast cancer precriptions. Evidence of the progessive rates were based on evidence of clinical trials. Woman who used the drug claim ed they want to have access to drug despite of the clinical tests and hope their protests will change the order to remove the drug. The drug would remain on the market, however for treating other types of cancer. The cost to use Avactin is expensive as well -- at least $1 hundred thousand dollars a year. FDA stand sternly that Avactin does not saves or extend lives of breast cancer in women.

Remarkable!
