48 Years of Having a Dream.... (156 hits)

Commentary:
It's been a widespread celebration among Americans as hundreds of thousands are looking forward to either reading, hearing, photographing or being in the presence of the National King Monument dedication ceremony. A perfect input to an already great speech and dream have all dreamers in a pure height of remembering and continuning to make a true dream a reality. Martin Luther King's dream simply will not go away. There is much more than words to the famous speech, but it has a soul binding presence in each American heart. Whether there be prejudices against it or total admiration, one cannot combat the dream's message with weapons that can destroy such a multitude of words that show such never before significant in a man, nation and a connection to people. Compare it to even Abe Lincoln's speech and you'll find that the impact has an even great long lasting message for generations to come. Now the memorial has a special meaning to all races of people. However, the mountain size memorial will have on lookers gazing with eyes of total personal connections that each person will view within themselves. Can the dream cometrue? Some have a belief the dream has come true and others are still striving to see the dream realization has images that are not far fetched at all. There are still struggles-- racists and and prejudices within America and usually it's inherited within the person. How they have chosen to continue to abhor hate after so many years of dream pushes the dream to keep them fast asleep. When they will open their eyes is when they will learn a dream of "LOVE for all people and fellow Americans" is one that never fades with any causes of nightmares laced with hatred. Because Martin's dream was of love.

So stands the memorial. So stands the dream.

God's Blessings,
MIISRAEL

He had Pride, Spiritually grounded.... NO man today has the strength, courage, faith and determined that Dr. King had!!!

He certainly deserves "ALL" recognition for his relentless pursuit for equality!!!!

Hurricane Irene has shut down the plans for the dedication. They're in the process of packing up all the chairs and sound equiptment. The dedication will be done more than likely in Sept.
