If you live in Islambad, Pakistan...You'll discover the Pakistan Telecommuncations Agency has issued a ban on words considered obsence or offensive in text messages. The list includes words like : monkey crotch wutang intercourse breast c*ndom hostage and one popular name is "Jesus Christ" The ban listed 1,109 english words, and 586 Urdu words. The PTA reported that the reasoning for the word bans is to decrease SPAM messages. Therefore they are requesting that any messages containing words from the list be banned & unsent. In addition, another reason for the "word ban" is that many of their customers had reported the words were considered offensive e-mails & they didn't know or understand the word's meaning from e-mail they had received. Okay... I wondered...should I ROTFL? LOL! is better.

Thank you Dearest Robert!...
That part of the world was spelled incorrectly probably doesn't exist.
I wrote "Pakinstan" and the correct spelling is "Pakistan." The locality of the region is the area of Islambad, Pakistan. I have since then made correction.. Du..ugh!!! .
That word is now banned.

All that means is that people will find other means to express themselves. It goes underground--but nobody can censor ideas.

@Richard : I thank you for that view of words and ideas. I'm most taken in depth of learning new words and expressing words partial to and vital to my poetry. Expressions ...Yes! there is always a way to say it something some kind of way --in writing it's only with words. Your comment is greatly appreciated & greatly recommended.
@Robert : As far as monkey crotch being an idea? I admit is not part of my knowledge, I wish I could elaborate more on it's text meaning, but you sir, have prompted me a curiosity.
Meanwhile, on a "personal insight" those terms of other words from your latter listing can be banned away from my daily living. I'd rather have those replaced with moral values as I have understood morality. To read them -- and not live them is "only to know their definition." The terms banned in your top lists appeals more to my senses idealism. Such banning of these words should be lifted!! ... The few words selected sounds like an excellent ban to me. Great comment! Thank you dear sir.

@Irma, Mother Dear..I'm more likely to stay in tune of beautiful words...for me they are safer! Thankful you read and listen to them as music.
@ Robert, true that!...You are right, I have no need to be concerned over such things as DEMONIC. ..I believe in the One knowing All things is the Creator. Now, I have given Him all the glory. Your lesson in words are well received. Love & Peace, are these words not universal worth speaking? So often, not spoken..too often, never kept. When others lack to know; it is always good to teach them.

Oh..by the way the banned words from the blog are not MY own terms, but ones banned by the PTA of Pakistan.
I show no ban on lovely words of inspiration.
words like :
LOVE
HARMONY
PEACE
KINDNESS

EQUALITY

Some 30 years ago, I befriended a very religious Pakistani Immigrant, who was fluent in Urdu and Arabic, but who had the filthiest English Language Mouth----- I probably at the time was the only English speaker he conversed with at any length.
I asked him WHY does he use such FOUL, Offensive language and he told me he had been a merchant marine for 10 years and the English speaking marines, talked that way.
As we became closer, over time he realized that oceanic marine english was NOT the language he wanted to use---so I taught him better words........
even today urdu words and english words do not translate well,
I believe that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority wishes to spare young and old of using words that they do not understand the English to Urdu; unEqual translations------So that people will have more loving, harmonious, peaceful, kinder, LIVES..
and as we know that the Creator of Adaam(as) delivered Prophetic words to Mankind, NOT in English; but a language closer to Urdu, maybe hebrew or arabic----again, I would agree many english words used, even on BIA, should be banned----many simpleBloggers already delete and block MANY english Words.

I am sure that the christian slaverAmericana SPEAKERS of 1492-1864 did NOT intend to ABUSE the african Human, or the native Human with their words AND their 2011 descendants Today say they were the best persons and they were SO happy.............

"I" shall say this and leave IT ALONE, because a 'closed mind' is as a rule CLOSED to TRUTH. example, All Blacks (human beings are not alike) and being different does not mean defecient/can't unify in love and respect for those differences...
Bride is a Christian and I am a NDB, and because we refuse to abuse any humans or their chosen faiths or their methods of being the best person they can be, we are happy not angry at self nor anyone else. (smile)

robert, I am still the same Irma that says, one has total control of their own behaviors...so much so that if one chose to be a chatel slave over death then I respect that person as it is their choice to be the best person they can be...then if one has been a slave all of their borndays than what do they know is different???????
I say this in the same manner of a person with blond hair wants to have black hair, a fat person wants to be thin ect. but praying it a way will not work, but actually praying about it then getting up and make your pray of being 20 lbs thinner then go to work on it with the individual's will as in being the best person that person can be...someone getting upset over it sure will not accompliah this.
but, robert i will continue to hope that you have peace and joy and that being a member of our little community will bring a big smile of contentment to you every now and then...
It i salso a fact that some people find injoyment in being unhappy as natural to them...but it does not bother me at all, we all have our likes and dislikes and we should always put our individual selves first and farmost...there is only one Irma with my mind and body and I chose to be happy...OR AS WE NDB BELIEVE WHERE EVER WE ARE WE MUST TURN IT INTO A PLACE OF SHINING LIGHT, PEACE AND HAPPINESS. (SMILE)
robert, I believe no form of education should be banned...too, too many wars have been fought for the rights to do this and, we will always regret this...but, like all cultures a lot of it has been so well hidden from those seeking to distroy it, we are still finding these priceless educational treasures for learning as well as relearning about the human race it self...like it or not...the mind will still seek to learnnew,"banned' information because this is natural. (smile)
See robert, I just learned something mmore about the faith you practice. (smile) I know you do find comfort as well as peace in the words of Bride also...
