Little did thousands of Philippines know a powerful rainstorm from last week would pour down in only hours heavy floods which now tolls of 1,500 with rain related deaths. Coastal areas were covered with bodies of the dead and numerous town morgues filled over capacity and the corspes delivered from a storm of sorrows. Thousands in the Philippines are left homeless due to drastic floodings. The United Nations launched a help and rescue mission of $28 million dollars to aid storm sufferages. Sources stated that despite of storm warnings on December 16, 2011 many of the perished slept through the rains thus sleeping to a drowning death. Mostly, women and children have perished. The heavy rains unleashed in 12 hours what's normally takes place in more than a month's worth of rainfall. Recoveries will take at least 6 months as flood waters sitll are devasting dangerous.
