MEDITATE SUNDAY: TAKING DAILY REFRESHMENTS (257 hits)

Grace and Peace to You!

Just as you take your morning and evening showers to refresh your body, you’ll find quick daily meditations and refresh your Spirit as well. You can make quick meditations available to meet your own schedules; and thus making your day highly rejoicing when there are down-periods of possible gloom. Use simple methods to practice perk ups. Have the Word in handy places and keep several copies of inspirational scriptures in places you are sure to go. When the moment allows, read, think and meditate in prayers to your Heavenly Father. If necessary you can make your own favorite worship scriptures on handy cards or on sheets of paper. If you’re at work make time to refresh before and or after eating on your lunch break. Stir way from other workers for some private time and devote that time to meditate an genuine love of the Word and of the Lord. If you’re in your car; pray as you take your drive instead of talking on the cell-phone. Develop a habit of quick meditations and when you conduct your meditation more deeply you’ll see where the short periods of meditation adds vest and enforces encouragement in your relation with The Lord of Heaven. All this must be a true meditations, and not just a repetition of duty. Really be open with God and allow His Spirit to abide in you wherever you go, whatever you are doing that is good, and whenever you can keep God in thoughts of your meditation and on His wonderful love for you.

“All my bones shall say, Lord who is like
unto thee, which delivereth the poor from
him who is too strong for him, yea, the poor
and the needy from him that spoileth him?
[Psalm: 35:10]

“Thy vows are upon me O’ God I will render
praises unto thee.”
[Psalm: 56:12]

“ Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which
hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart,
to beautify the house of the Lord.”
[Ezra: 7:27

Remember to have the Word handy and available for your showers of meditation everyday. Your heart will give thanks and your relationship will be complete in love and dedication with the Lord....Even so , this very hour.

“Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O’Lord my strength and my redeemer.
[Psalm: 19:14]
