Don't feel bad. A lot of people don't appreciate music until many years later. Many people criticize an era during its existence, but 10 years later, they reminisce on that era as if it was golden. 10 years from now, when we have a new era, people will be talking about how they miss this current era...despite how much they trash it. They do it all the time. So you're listening to this at the right time.

Well said. I'm black myself, but what you said is true. Things have NEVER been about race. The poor class (whites and blacks) were duped into thinking they were. It always has been and still is about class. Poor whites and blacks are on the same level but are too stupid to see it.
