As the old saying goes, "Get in where you fit in." Did Blacks have options or choices on these matters? Did we take advantages of knowledge that was available, such as since September 26, is a well known religious day for the Jews and Jesus was originally a Jew, that it might be a good day to get a prayer through to God.(smile)

Yes, but the way I heard it from people in the past; is that once you were chosen to be placed in the house you had no options but to work in the house. Special jobs for special peoples.(lol)
