Okay........ good morning and hopefully everyone is alright. The New York Metropolitan area got clobber with Storm Sandy. We lost alot of power in many communities and the transit system is closed and may take days to operational status due to severe flooding. Long Island residents of nearly one million have lost power however we have power. That is almost 1/3 of the total residents.
The LIPA crews are out working to restore power as well and Con Edison had a major crisis with the substation on 14th street exploding near the FDR highway. Thus causing power to be cut from 39 street to Battery Park, & South Street Seaport.
Jersey had significant power outages and flooding issues on coastal areas as well as Long Island however big ups to the political leaders for the frequent warnings of evacuations in cooperation with the media.
Thanks Mayor Michael Bloomberg!!!!!!!!!
Big ups to New York University Lagone Medical Center whom major generators failed and the Nursing staff and other workers relocated safely 200+ patients including newborns and neonates to New York Cornell Medical Center as well as affiliate Mount Sinai Medical Center that has affiliation with New York University Medical Center.
New York University Medical Center Rocks...!!!!!!!! we are known nationally for patient care and now heros during a natural disaster crisis.
Jake will remain on the Island probably for the entire week based on updates of the transit system in NYC.
Okay... now I'm chillin listening to some music and this track is featured from the crew of "House Set of Greece TV".
Hope you enjoy too!!!
