‘American Exceptionalism’ and relevant terms defined
So how do we get the American people to root themselves in Truth when the institutions that shape them are rooted in lies? In order for us to save our nation—because we’re not giving White folk one more day to claim this as “theirs” exclusively—America has to first face the reality of the condition of the country.
The Republican presidential candidate, Governor Mitt Romney, talks about “American Exceptionalism” which, defined, is: “The belief that the United States is different from other countries in that it has a specific world mission to spread liberty and democracy”—now, that’s an “exceptional lie,” isn’t it? “In this view, America’s exceptionalism stems from its developing a uniquely American ideology based on liberty, egalitarianism and individualism .…”
“An ideology based on liberty and democracy”—let’s start with that lie, first! If America was “exceptional” in its ideological framework, and liberty was at the root of that ideology, it was clearly not meant for Black people, nor was it meant for the Indians, the Mexicans or for the Asians who came to build the railroads.
And is this country a “Democracy”—or is this an Oligarchy? “Oligarchy” is “a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate or military control. Such states are often controlled by a few prominent families who pass their influence from one generation to the next.”
Are any of your families in the “ruling group”? No, but some of you are “getting along” … but “getting along” is not what God wants! God wants you to get along in a way that your own individual exceptionalism can be manifest under a correct system of governance because each of you is exceptional! God does not make “mediocrity,” the system makes mediocrity!
“Egalitarianism” means equality: “A society where everyone in the society has equal justice, equal opportunity, equal access to the good of such a country.”
Oh, it certainly did not mean us; nor our Indian family, or our Mexican family. I can’t even mention the Asians, because they didn’t care what it meant; they made a way for themselves regardless to what America meant. And there are others who came here who said, “Well, you’re not including us, but we’re including ourselves,” so they united, pooled their resources, pulled themselves up and made America their home.
There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m only saying that “liberty” is written—but you’ve got to be free to take advantage! And when you destroy the mind of an entire people, you render them weak in taking advantage of whatever you put out there that you say they have “equal access” to.
The last thing that I would like to mention to you is the word “Attitude” which is “a manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, especially of the mind.”
I have been blessed by God to travel practically all over the world, and everywhere I go, whenever I see Black people in relationship to their former slave and colonial masters, I see an attitude, “a state of mind,” that Blacks are inherently “inferior,” and Whites are inherently “superior.” May I humbly suggest that no matter how “brilliant” you are: When you go to sleep at night, all your “brilliance” sleeps with you … And if your 4-year-old child wakes up in the night, it can run the house while you are asleep. So you cannot judge a “sleeping person” in their time of rest and sleep.
When White people traveled around the Earth, they saw Africa, they saw China, the darker nations, as “a sleeping giant.” They could rule as long as the whole world was “asleep.” But when the world starts waking up, there’s a new reality that Whites are going to have to deal with.

Black people are looking for a “champion.” If you say, “Well, I don’t need a champion”—stay in the condition that you’re in! If somebody doesn’t stand up, they’ll think that we’re “satisfied,” and they must never be allowed to think that the conditions under which we live are satisfactory to us!
