Stop, Think and then Thank Him! (641 hits)

February 12th, 2013
It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. So often in our lives, we experience times when we do not want to be bothered. There are times when we want to be by ourselves. Even now, you are thinking of other places you could be at this present time. Physically your body is drained. Emotionally you hate your job. Financially you realize the job is important. Can you relate?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and strengthen you. My friend, during those times when you do not want to be bothered, or when you want to be by yourself, you need to Stop, Think and then Thank Him! There are people around you who would love to have what you hate and complain about. No the job is not the best, but it is a blessing to have one. No the car does not act right all the time, but it is a blessing to have one. If you ever Stop, Think and then Thank Him, you would realize how good God has been to you. The Bible declares in Proverbs 23:7 - For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: The way you view your situation will result in how you handle the situation.

My brother, my sister, what are you complaining about? Who are you complaining about? As you were riding in your car today, did you see someone asking for food? Maybe asking for work or money? That could have been you. Right where you are, Stop, Think and then Thank Him! Thank the Lord for watching over you all night. Thank Him for forgiving your sins. Thank Him for loving you in spite of all your wrong. Point to Remember: If you stop long enough, you will always find something to thank God for.

May God Bless you at Your point of need!
