A New Book on Lil Wayne! "Dwayne Vs. Lil Wayne: 12 Winning Lessons from the Man behind the Character" (1915 hits)

Dwayne Carter a.k.a. Lil Wayne is an international multi-platinum recording artist. His life has been defined in the media by the lyrics in the music he has produced giving him an image of a rich thug, womanizing, and drug abusing stereotype. What the media neglects to mention is that the stereotype he represents is indeed a BUSINESS. A business based on that very same stereotype that the recording industry makes billions off of. Right or wrong, it has become a profession.

A profession does not define who we are as people, it is simply something we do to make money. Dwayne Carter chose this profession and has excelled in it. The story in the media should be on what methods Dwayne Carter uses to achieve this success in an industry where there are tens of thousands of rappers. In the book “Dwayne Vs. Lil Wayne” the author has detailed the success methods he observed while traveling across the country and overseas with Dwayne Carter for a period of 4 years. The author makes it clear that there is Lil Wayne the character who is strikingly different from Dwayne Carter the man. He then lays out 12 lessons, which are not unlike lessons found in many self-help books, which can help the reader achieve a measure of success in their own chosen profession.

“Dwayne Vs. Lil Wayne: 12 winning Lessons from the Man behind the Character” can serve to not only give our youth a view beyond the character of Lil Wayne in the lyrics, but it can also serve as an insightful guide to their own success through the life lessons of the man, Dwayne Carter.
