Indeed, there were people who existed before Adam...in the book of Genesis (if we take it literally) there was a 6 day creation!
Please note: in Genesis 1:28 that God gave man dominion over the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. These people were hunters and fisherman.
Genesis 1:28, the sixth day creation of man were hunters and fisherman, this would most likely force many of them to be nomadic, to track game animals.
In Genesis 2:5 it is stated "there was not a man to till the ground." God had not created a man to be a farmer as of yet. At this time, in Genesis 2:7, God formed man (Adam) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Thus creating the first farmer!
Adam who lived about 6000 years ago is popularly believed to be the first man created by god upon the earth. This view is, however, not corroborated by a close study of the relevant facts. The truth is that the world has passed thru different cycles of creation and civilization and Adam the progenitor of the present human race is only the first link in the present cycle and not the very first man in gods creation. Nations have risen and fallen, civilization have appeared and disappeared. Other Adams may have lived gone before our Adam; other cycles of civilization appeared and disappeared.
It is not claimed that the race which lived before Adam was entirely swept away before he was born. Most probably there had remained a small degenerated remnant of the old race and Adam was one of them. God then selected him to be the progenitor of new race and precursor of new civilization. Created, as it were out of the dead he represented the dawn of a new era of life.
The NOI (Nation Of Islam) teaches there are multiple "Adams". First there is "Adam", the Original people (Black race) who were masters of the universe. Then there is the "Adam" whom The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches represents the white race. In fact, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad interpreted "Adam" both ways if you are on your lessons at even the rudimentary level.
If you read Genesis 1:26-28, 1:31 states that God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness. This means he created the first man in his own image, and the first man he created was Black.
Then in Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he made and behold it was very good.
So if we accept there were humans before Adam & Eve their spiritual and material state at that time was good. Meaning everything that God made at this time was very good otherwise God would not have been able to say it was good if he had not made man in his own image.
Also in Genesis 2:1: God states Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. It is clearly stated that the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. (People)
The purpose of the Garden Of Eden (paradise) is to raise the black people into the knowledge of his true self and their nature. It is the first Garden where in God produced himself out of which is the Garden of Eden to us it is referred as the Garden of ASIA.
According to the Bible (Gen. 3:20-24), Adam and his wife were the first parents of all people (white race only) and the first sinners. According to the Word of Allah, he was driven from the Garden of Paradise into the hills and caves of West Asia, or as they now call it, "Europe," to live his evil life in the West and not in the Holy Land of the East. "Therefore, the Lord God sent him (Adam) forth from the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from when he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden cherubims (Muslim guards) and a flaming sword which turned every way to keep the devils out of the way of the tree of life (the nation of Islam)."
The sword of Islam prevented the Adamic White race from crossing the border of Europe and Asia to make trouble among the Muslims for 2,000 years after they were driven out of the Holy Land and away from the people, for their mischief-making, lying and disturbing the peace of the righteous nation of Islam.
The Holy Qur'an says: "But the devil made them both fall from it, and caused them to depart from that (state) in which they were; and we said: Get forth, some of you being the enemies of others, and there is for you in the earth an abode and a provision for a time!" (The time here refers to the limited time of the Adamic white race. The time is 6,000 years.) According to the above verse (2:36), they were driven out because they were the enemies of the people of the Garden, in these words: "Get forth some of you being the enemies of others." The others cannot refer to any others than the people of the Garden (the Muslims).
To all, I hope that you will not misunderstand me and think that I do not believe in the Bible and the Quran. I extract principles from both books but I do not follow the Bible in holding that the world began with the birth of Adam 6000 or 7000 years ago and that before this was nothing and God was as it were idle and without work. Neither do I claim that all mankind who are now found in different parts of the earth are the progeny of the self same Adam. On the contrary I hold that this Adam was not the first man. Mankind existed even before him, as is hinted in the Book of Genesis.
