DAY 6
SEPTEMBER 2014
Honolulu, HI
It's creeping lava slowly causing danger to residents. . . . .
The recent volcano blow in Honolulu has many scientists and residents watching the lava's slow creeping crawl. At this point the few occupied residents near the volcano are on full alert watch as lava is seemingly making it's slow snail crawl toward the neighborhoods. Scientist are warning those on Hawaii Big Island to be cautious and stand ready to evacuate. Mt. Kilauea erupted last week sending hot lava downstream burning many trees and ground brush. The mountain was detected leaking lava underground on June 27, 2014 and has since then traveled over 8 miles of forests. The alert remains as lava flow could change and residents will have to flee.
It's the creeping lava
they are watching.
