Doctors and Centers for Diseases world wide are on the observance as the Zika virus has been brought to the United States by visitors who go and return from abroad. The Brazilian based virus is broad spread by a unpopular mosquito called the Aedes aegy pti has been identified for the bone virus called Zika. Thousands of Brazilians have been infected and many expectant mothers have been proven cases with their babies born with birth defects particular smaller heads. Since then the spread of the disease has shown up in some travelers from America. A new discovery has also shown that the virus can be spread through intimate relations, as one case did happen in the U.S. was reported as by a Texas couple where one visited another country and was effected by a mosquito. As at this time Brazilians has the highest cases of mosquitoes spreading the virus. The government of Brazil are combating ways to lower the over 3000 cases according to one media report. The main concern of Zika is so far considered highly dangerous to expectant mothers, but other concerns may be watched as the spread widens to other countries. There is not a vaccine yet that can prevent the spread of Zika, but medical professionals are studying ways that the virus works in order to create a prevention or slow down possible defects to the unborn. At least 1,000 cases have been reported in the United States, however there may be several thousands cases unreported to date.
