That's pathetic. Further down there's an article about an apology for slavery. We've been waiting on that for how long now? Seriously, what difference will it make to recieve an apolgy, will racism end? We will be treated as equals? I don't think so. Come on now, wake up stop dreaming.

Listen, The Communist Chinese (have and will) Kill and Degrade their Own People! So what do/would they care about Black People? That goes without saying about anyone who disregards the "Rights and Dignities of All People." I also agee that the people of other countries and around the world do believe what they are told and view on T.V. that is controlled by "the powers that be"...until they find out otherwise. It is up to us as Black People to Educate the World About Our Culture(s), Who We Are, and What We Are About...not what is told about us by them that hate us!

Peace, Love, Pride, and Soul!

Yes. I agree with the comments made by everyone here. We must do more to influence our global image. We also have to understand that when we were in slavery those who enslaved us (Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, Lutherans, and so on) were in China trying to open trade relations with the Chinese. The history of our image abroad was being shaped long before the advent of modern media.

I'm available to work with anyone who wishes to address this issue on the global level.
