I had to chastise myself today. Between my flife roles as wife, mother, daughter, minister, full-time student, poet, and full-time j-o-b employee, I am utterly EXHAUSTED!!!
My fatigue has made me realize that I'm going to have to reset my priorities and cut back on some stuff. I have been going and going and going and going and ya'll, it has FINALLY caught up to me. I'm sure all this going accompanied with 3-4 hours of sleep a night (if that) are what have all but put my lights out.
Please, pray for me while I attempt to make some serious decisions. I feel like God gently tapped me on my should today when I went outside to let the sun shine right on my face. He whispered, gentle God that He is,
"Baby, even *I* rested." Surely, if
He took some time,
I'm not too good to. I think there's a message in that.
If God rests, so can we. There's not THAT much to be done. Okay, I'm still chastising myself. LOL
Please, keep me in your prayers, and by all means,
GET SOME REST!!!!
