Hillary the power broker (396 hits)

What is the problem with these delegates. Someone explain to me why in the hell, will people in the Democratic Party still have "hang ups" about the Clinton ouster. She lose! These delegates say they were disrespected because Obama didn't choose Hillary. They said they were disrespected because Obama didn't seek Big Bill's opinions. It has been said they are upset because Obama didn't choose Hillary's workers to be apart of Obama;s team. After that brutal campiagn fight, I wouldn't pick any of Hillary's cronies either.

Now, Hillary could have stop this onslaught from happening, after she lose the Democratic nomination. Hillary got exactly what she wanted, chaos. This street fighter (Hillary), below the belt punching, is starting to take the wind out of Obama. McCain TV ads are starting to gain traction. And the main star of those ads, are Hillary Clinton, not McCain. Hillary needs to go in a cave somewhere.

What do you think about these delegates? Do you blame Hilary or someone else for Obama recent decline in the polls?

The Clintons have worked my last nerve. HRC has no real intention of helping Obama and the only help she needs to do is to just go back an be a senator. I don't really give a hoot about their feelings. This is a national crisis. We simply cannot afford to have another Republican in office. There is only one democrat left, and "it ain't her!"

Any so called democrat who is willing to not vote for Obama is just a fool. I would also go as far as to question their integrity. HRC's feelings do not come close to competing with the enormity of hwat going on for people in theri daily lives. We have big problems to solve and small-minded people cannot solve them, and in fact, are part of the problem.

Hello!
kenneth, that's your opinion and mine is mines. I can speak about how I feel!.
That doesn't mean I have hang ups about the 'Clintons". I'm sorry if you don't aprove of my choice wanting "Hilary" for "Vice President" but, that's your problem. You have your choice and so do I and everyone else. We all may have different canidates in mind for "Vice President" but as a man and woman we try too respect each others choice. So there is no need too blow up and get mad. "RESPECT", being humble, and having loving kindness, towards one another is the key of life.
Much love hon!

Francine, what are you talking about. Please do not speak to my emotions. Stop trying to read me and just give me reasons why people like you can't get over Clintion losing? Clinton lose, right? McCain is a Republican, right? Where does your loyalty lie. If its about a women being in the White House why isn't McCain being hammered for not choosing a women vice president.

Your girl Hillary has too much baggage, just face it. You can't even explain why you want Hillary, you want to attack me. When and if Obama wins I hope he doesn't give you or any other "Bennedict Arnold" delegate, any play in government jobs that you were hoping Hillary had for you.

Thank you, for you comment Barbara. Maybe Francine should read your response. And secondly, Francine I do not have a choice in the vice president nobody does, only Obama. Respect is earned, being humble and kind are attributes but knowledge is the key of life. You can't navigate this planet without it. Common sense is critical, thats why some people will remain stuck.

Clark, outstanding post. Listening to these "talking media heads" I was thinking Obama was down by 20 % points. LOL

I don't want McCain to win, but I'm no Obama fan either. My jury's still out on him. I'm trying to figure out what he's DONE...aside from being a wonderful motivational speaker. What's SO GREAT about Barack Obama? I don't trust him...never have. And Hillary has nothing to do with it. There's just something about him that rubs me the wrong way. ...and I haven't placed it yet. If I DO vote, I'll likely vote for him because in my mind-- ANYBODY BUT BUSH (or BUSH-LIKE).

Dee I can understand your hesitation. I felt the sameway, but dam, its the fourth quarter with 2 seconds on the clock and Obama has to sink 2 free-throws to win the game and the crowd is screaming at the top of their lungs. Sorry for my basketball analogy, but thats how critical it is. I guess you will have to get his book because the media is not going to give you the clear picture on him, anyway. Clark mentioned something to me in another blog that was poignant. His said if I wanted to know more about Hillary's "street fighter rep," do some research on Whitewater and Travelgate. I will do this once I get motivated to do so. Dee thanks for your comments.

Clark, it never suprise me that blacks who do not still themselves can some how still manage to believe that "all blacks steal". May be Obama is not known because he went to college and became a small time attorney and not a school drop out to play pro basket ball. May be because he did not become a drug addict. I am so sure that Rev. J. Wright helping him not be torn between the hurt of growning up in a White enviornment being left behind and becoming content in his life time of being proud of his black skin as a positive not a negative has a lot to do with I can not trust this supposed Christian? Or his having a White single mother and not a Black single mother have any thing to do with the mistrust/not knowing this person, yet that the Whites in West Va. know so much about him they will not vote for him? Let us not forget the White older Catholics in Pa. Those 'hard working White folks"in West Va. also who will not vote for Obama. Those White only older people in the deep south that Bill Clinton went, all of those Black churches??And the some in Black race-in America not knowing any thing about Obama???

Give small mindness a break and watch the speechs of Mrs. Obama, the female speaker of the house and others who have been in D.C. as long/longer as HRC to help get over it>>>>please...

As for me, I could care less what this Constitutional attorney does not do to fignt for his freedom of choice of religion(at this time); I am so greatful the it seem the middle east believe that he is for them as Bush has never been.

1.It looks like the war in Iraq is coming to an endas bush and his administration come face to face with Iraq reminding them that this is a Democratic country and not one of his colony!!!!
2. That Iran will not now have to allow Russia to put a nuclear weapon in their country to save face for the onebush put into Poland!
3. Next to Saudia Arabia, Russia has the next most oil and now America may now be borrowning money needed to fight off a depression from the Democratic middle east and not Communist China.

And, Hillary backers please rest assured that she is still talking about her winning the popular vote!!! Is she and Bill Clinton old enough to be accused, the both of them, of commiting 'elder abuse' of HRC????And, I am serious, some how some way this self distruction of these two must be brought to their attention!!!!.

Kenneth X , I will be the first one to say that America is not better off today than we were 8 years ago.The Clintons and the Republiccan party (and in some ways all of the political partys)itself has been a major, major disaster !!!!!But, I can take comfort in the bigger the disaster the greater and the more lasting the changes that come from them every time. History has always proven this to be true/fact.

Those polls speak nothing about the lack of jobs, poor medicines and dangerous food stuffs nor global warming, This is left to us the citizens of this country to help us become the government once again and not big business by way of the lobby greed. We will still be here in December long after the election is over trying to get heat and safe toys for our children for Christmas.

I will be writting in the name Ron Paul on my ballot in November. I will do this because my conscious tells me to cast my vote for the one politician who knew that the open and honest truth is not yet wanted in this country's political arena and still spoke out a warning we see in the stock markets every day that even China can not loan us enough money to get money in our banks that the American citizens have put,as they want to make with drawls, or the social security money they have been putting in for years and years!!!WAKE UP, America.

Ron Paul's saying that this empire would fall because this is what an empire does when it can not longer sustain itself. What empire do you know of that has been able to last with the children going homeless and hungry and needy?????

I know that I owe the future of this country a step in this direction if we are to not fall altogether over petty bull s---about the Clinton's feelings being hurt. How do you think those people feel when they learn about their family member, neighbor, friends being killed all over the world ever minute of every day. I even fell guilty that we are not in any kind of debt to any bankor any one else. We are retired and not worried about loosing a job we have had for 16-20 years!!!This country's future is bigger than an election that will end in November!!!WAKE UP and fight for your grand children's grand childern having a planet to be able to live on....Those jobs of ours that were sent to China is killing us(and this planet) in more ways than I thought before the Olympics have me believing those jobs were sent ther because of our pollution standards!!!

America is bigger than Obama, the Clintons or MCcain....

I will be voting with one blind thought, how do we get out of this mess we are in...this is mainly because even thought G.W. Bush as I see him thought he was a Dictator, all Americans who did not agree with him and his religion-family value based party were insane attitude is coming back to haunt us all in this country one way or the other; and the administration of his (not in prison-in early 'retirement' from his choices by backing him as if we have Dictators...

I believe that that America is still run by the voting with one's conscious one vote system and will be able to once again not go to the stores with no fear of what they buy from food to toys to not having a job to help buy those maybe poisoned products if the trucks can afford the gas to get these products to said stores.

I have only one vote and I will vote as if "I" run the government according to the needs of this country!!!and, it is not a one man MCcain nor Obama'sprivate government at all. My vote is for America getting out of the war, our friend countryno longer being former friend country like South Korea , England (with those Bush not wanted in our country signs- and more American flag waving like in Germany for Obama)and less death in Africa and less discord in our country, more responsible media and American citizens to learn and to be able to get a little more wisdom on what makes this country so strong in the future as it is no longer because of being so easily mislead like sheep to the slaughteras we continue to be more in debt to China...

Hillary Clinton will not be able to jump on the Democrat party band wagon now as she did with Bill Clinton seeking a political career in being the 'first female"of politics/office. Her ambitions began with Bill Clinton's influence and power plays and it seem she will end up just as she began, A LOOSER with no male back to ride to the top on.

Full circle or "what you do to others will come back to you"...

Please take special note that on MSNBC Live,8-25-08, in an interview by Andera Mitchell(an NBC "FEMALE" political anysist) with Eric Holder he said that the vetters did as Hillary Clinton asked them to do. She asked that they not go into her:health records-her 8 years as first lady and more important do not go into her finances as she herself would not even do this her self!!!

The man who wrote the book about Hillary(and in her favor) "The Lady In Charge", says that Hillary can not make up in one speech that she is backing Obama because she is not! How even the roll call she has asked for is about her being able to get up and say the state of New York is backing Obama. I believe that a roll call like this has not been do in over 60 years.

And, poor Bill Clinton has it seemed been told by the Obama camp he does as told or continue to stay out of the public being more harm to his wife that he ever can to Obama. Bill Clinton has been told to talk about foreign affairs and not about him and his economy when he was in office!!!!

Nothing personal Francine just the reality that this is about John MCcain and Obama. It is not about Hillary loosing or going broke twice or how her following Mark Penn's advice to run against Obama as him being not American ....It is about the Obamas and the Bidens being in charge. go vote for MCcain as he may even be able to get Hillary Clinton to RETURN BACK to the Republican party that she spent so much time in college supporting 1000th %!!!

Chris Matthews is not one of my favorites ,but he said something smart today on the MSNBC Election08 program. He said John MCcain as he is putting Hillary to such good use he should ask her to be his VP as she is avaliable now. There is no way MCcain can chose Mitt Romney after the home business or anyone who is very, very wealthy at this time.

May be she should do this as a last dicth efffot to remain in politics. Hillary did belong to the Republican party until Bill Clinton. She was so upset over the Barry Goldwater's racist loss for president that in order to get back at her father's Democrat party she went Republican in college. This tid bit came from her best friend along with pictures of Hillary as her college president of the Republican party to boot!!!

I believe that it was Hillary's political ambitions much more than Bill's because she was the politician not him when the two met.
