Black Buddhists in America
We are black in America too. Buddhism is one of the fastest growing religions in the African-American community. This discussion group provides a means for Black Buddhists as well as Christians, Muslims and others to come together and explore ways Buddhist teachings and meditation can address the problems we all face in our communities. We provide an opportunity for African-American practitioners of Buddhism, who often find themselves isolated and scattered throughout the country to share stories with like-minded brothers and sisters. This group is open to those engaged in Buddhist practices, as well as those that who would like to ask questions about Buddhism.
