Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the rationale of Black Americans? Posted on 07-03-2009

Hello,

Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the rationale of Black Americans?

Okay, let me explain myself. Black Americans know that they are a different people from other people in America including White people. Black Americans know that our history, beginning in slavery and now subjugated people in America is distinctly different from other people.

Now here is my point, I scan the blogs every now and then to understand the mentality of Black in America. What I see, is that we are forever complaining about our circumstances. I see bloggers reminiscing the past, I guess to keep us mindful of how far we have come.

However, when a permanent solution is offered that would resolve the problems, every one frowns their faces as if though they just smelled a pile of sh*t. The permanent solution of course is to become a sovereign people or have complete independence on a portion of this continent that we can call our very own country with borders.

Therefore, can somebody Black tell me what the heck is it that Black Americans wants, or do Black Americans have the intelligence to know what they want?

What say you? 0

Peace,

This is a great topic and question. It seems like many of our people would like to forget the messages of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey because we are complacent and in a comfort zone. Even though we feel the matrix and don't feel that we'll ever be 100% free, we're afraid to venture out into the realm of self rule.

Just as regentrification is planned and growing in our American cities with Europeans and Asians moving back in and taking over, the same is happening in Africa. Will we one day say "Man, should have invested over there?".

Peace

Peace

First: Slavery is not the beginning of our history in America. Slavery is the beginning of White persons history in America. In search of gold, they brought prisoners here from England to dig up the earth, fight the " Natives " and seed civilization for themselves. Slavery, self hatred, ignorance and prejiduce is their history and not ours.

Since our journey under their cruel and debasing rulership, our quest is for freedom. A complete freedom. A freedom that is governed by ideas instead of laws. The tendacy of many Black leaders is to innoculate laws into our quest for independence. In this, Black divide into groups. These groups become vunerable to being infilterated by foreigners. These foreigners are not only Whites. They are Asians, Hispanics and others who wish to use divided status against us but for their own purpose.

The idea then should be to get Blacks to unite their ideas, not with any foreigners, but amongst ourselves and as we experiment with these ideas to ascertain what is best for us we will grow into an independent nation. Some Blacks will say that this is the rebirth of segregation. IT IS. However, this form of segregation is birthed out of the necessity for a people to bond and heal, not in efforts to withhold certain privileges from particular groups of people.

As long as we continue to wrangle over leadership and positions in high places we will forever be subjugated to others. Used to infilterate and destroy our own efforts and eventually wind up back in the chains of servitude.

I hope I have shared a positive thought for you to ponder.0

The old adage that "You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy" comes to mind when you speak of "having our own space", is it not segregation, isolation... We were segregated prior in this country, with signs "Colored" & "Whites Only." We know how those separate and unequal resources worked out. So we pushed for integration. I absolutely agree with you Harry, but I fear what that would look like. Especially when you see some Native Americans given their land with limited resources and the basic necessities such as clean and fresh water. If 40 acres and a mule didn't work out, the expectation of a portion of this continent to call our own is absurd. Our continent is Africa.
