A quick question. Posted on 04-16-2012

I am currently writing an article about the racial divide in America as it stands today. I feel the idea "African American" or "Black American" is simply ludicrous as we are all Americans in this country - as I feel the same with "White American"

My question is - Do you feel that promoting "Blackness" in this country will solve any of the issues affecting today's economic and social ills? Or do you feel it's better to face them together as Americans (regardless of pigment)?

I have presented this question to another leading "White American" forum.

(In case you were wondering - I'm a multiracial American).
