This cover letter is in response to your advertisement for the position (s) Qualified Professional. I received my Master of Science on May 07 2005, in Family Consumer Sciences with a Minor in Communication Disorders & Certification as a Culturally Responsive Early Intervention and Assistive Technology Trainee. I am presently seeking Licensure as a Professional Counselor P-LCAS in the state of North Carolina. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Science with a concentration of Early Childhood Development and Family Relations. I am a Licensed School Speech Pathologist in the state of Virginia and I have completed all course work in the Teachers Education Program for Special Education/General Curriculum.
I have worked in the field of Human Services since the age of 17 years. The knowledge I have in this arena has been gained through personal, and work experiences as well as educational training. I have held various positions related to child/family orientations, that was not only limited to social needs but the goods and products that these families consume. I have training to consult with community agencies that are faith based, public education, for profit, non-profit (retail, financial, municipal, local, state and federal governments), to market to target populations , and set up of stores, projects/services to be consumed by customers/clients. I have certifications for several hours of training approved by the NC Board of Substance Abuse Professionals, through the Durham Center LME.
