As a Pharmacy Warehouse Packaging Lead, you\u2019ll be a key part of our Automation Production Support team. Leads will support Supervisors and Managers in the coordination and training of warehouse pharmacy packaging technicians in all areas of the Closed Door Central Fill Pharmacy including canister replenishment, manual prescription fulfilment, packaging, and shipping.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 6-12 months; Demonstrated proficiency in training
  • Experience Desired: General knowledge of pharmacy operations and software
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership in coordinating department Team Members to oversee the completion of daily production goals.
  • Collaborate with shift supervisor to maintain a consistent presence on the production floor to monitor operations.
  • Utilize problem solving and conflict resolution skills and escalate situations to the leadership team and/or Human Resources when appropriate.
  • Promote Safety to reinforce and recognize good work habits and identify training needs.
  • Coordinate training of new Team Members, as well as cross-training current Team Members.
  • When requested, assess team member performance, and provide feedback to Supervisors and Pharmacy Team Leader.
  • Recognize, address, and escalate system issues to internal stakeholders and vendors when necessary.
  • Load/Unload truck deliveries using power equipment.
  • Perform all pharmacy technician duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned
