The Production Supervisor at Cytiva is responsible for overseeing areas of production by:

• Driving improvements in line with defined KPI targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity/Cost.
• Ensure optimal staffing levels through managing and coordinating work schedules and strategically driving employee training.
• Focusing on high product quality by adhering to internal procedures, maintaining full product traceability, and ensuring compliance with the quality management system.

This position reports to the Sr. Value Stream Manager for the departments and is located in Pensacola, FL as an on-site role. The expected working hours are the Pitman schedule. For this role, the hours are approximately 5:45 PM to 6:15AM. Workdays will alternate on a weekly basis and includes weekends.

What you will do:

• Lead and support the daily operations of the value stream, ensuring alignment with KPI targets and production goals.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members.
• Manage a team of associates. Navigate staffing, training, and development of associates, including scheduling and performance feedback.
• Drive operational excellence through the application of DBS tools such as 5S, Daily Management, and Problem-Solving Process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and support audit readiness.

Who you are:

• Have 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel 10% of the time to other Cytiva manufacturing locations in the US and Worldwide, as required.
• Ability to access gauges and equipment 5-6 feet off the ground, lift and move up to 50 lb.
• Wear all necessary PPE which could include respirator, air hood, hearing protection, etc.
